Best Friends Bellevue - Pet Salon

I got my kitten for his first grooming session and I must say I was super disappointed. They charged a $145 for basically cuts and nicks everywhere including his neck. The legs were trimmed so badly (watch the images).

My daughter recommended this salon to me, she is a regular there and takes her dog Bella. I recently moved to her area so I decided to take my cat Lola there. I usually do not take her to groomers because she is grumpy and known to scratch but they were able to handle her perfectly. I’m so happy with their service and the results. Highly recommend this saloon!

It's in the details!! It was our first time at this salon, since we haven't lived in WA for all that long, but we've been to lots of grooming appointments with our dogs over the years. Best Friends really has their service down. They are efficient, but caring. Our dog, pictured here, is a 14.5 y.o. Portuguese Water Dog with a thick wavy coat that needs grooming every 6-8 weeks. He's in very poor health (sore joints, deaf, and some neurological issues), but they handled him with patience and kindness. The groomer was observant and responsive to his pain or discomfort. They even scheduled him for early check-in and quick turnaround so that his stress level would be lower. On top of all that, his cut looks great!! It's even all over, which is amazing because I'm sure he layed down most of the time. Well done!!

I’ve brought my dog here three times now, and each visit has had a completely different set of groomers, which already made me a bit uneasy. The haircut and value itself was usually fine, but during my most recent appointment my dog came home with a cut on his ear and I wasn’t notified about it. I understand that small injuries can happen, but not documenting it or informing the owner is a big issue. Within the week following that groom, my dog also developed irritation/hot spots on one of his front legs, something he has never had before. Based on the timing and location, I’m concerned it may have happened from rough brushing or mat removal. I’m disappointed because I really wanted to like this place, but the lack of communication and the new skin issues after this visit made me decide I won’t be returning. I hope they improve consistency in staffing and transparency with clients, because that matters a lot for our pets’ safety and comfort.

I love the job that Kelsey does for my dog Bruno. Other groomers were never able to trim his nails and she has a very calming approach. She does an awesome job grooming as well. I have come twice and I booked another appt for the Christmas holiday. I highly recommend Best Friends Grooming.

This is the second time I have taken my sweet angel to Best Friends Grooming Salon and I absolutely love them!! I was a bit worried both times, but she always turns out looking just like how I ask. She is never skiddish or frightened afterwards and seems much happier with her new cut. Thank you for taking care of my best friend!

I have gone to Best Friends a number of years and have been very happy. My dog was groomed there recently and I am so so pleased with the way she looks. I think they have changed hands and they are making improvements to the shop. I highly recommend them for grooming your dogs.
