Shai's Pet Styles LLC

This was our first time taking our senior dog to Shai’s Pet Styles. I can’t say enough great things about the experience from start to finish! Ease of scheduling the appointment, all the way to picking him up after the service. Our dog has been a difficult groom in the past. The environment was friendly, stress free and quiet for him. His grooming was above and beyond what i would have ever expected. Very professional. We will be going back. I’m recommending her to anyone looking for a groomer for their pets!

I met Shai while she was out walking her puppy Olive who was decked out in a STUNNING creative rainbow groom. Found out she was a groomer and I asked for her info. After checking out her page i was so excited to book with her for my dog Banjo’s nail trims. I have chronic illness, live alone and Banjo has Lumbosacral disease(spinal disease that is degenerative) and doesn’t like her feet messed with. Basically Banjo is a two person nail trim job and I didn’t have enough hands to keep up with it! I really love that the salon even for small services like a nail trim are fully 1:1 (I guess unless you count me holding Banjo gently and feeding her a steady stream of liquid cat treats then it’s a 1:2) Banjo did great froze a couple times on those back feet but those are her more sensitive feet’s and I think it’s related to the lumbosacral disease. I will be booking regularly with Shai to get Banjo’s toe nails to the perfect healthy length as I know this can impact her pain levels as well. Seeing the happy Pride post on socials also made me feel safe to work with Shai. Even though Banjo wasn’t a fan of the process she was all loves, butt wiggles and snuggles after it was all done. I’m the kind of Pet parent/guardian that just can’t let vets/groomers etc "take them to the back" anymore after one too many issues with such set ups so being able to be present for the full nail trim experience was really really important to me. Unless something catastrophic happens Banjo will have a recurring every 2 week appointment to see Shai to get and keep her toes in tip top shape. I didn’t take any pictures of Banjo’s toes but maybe next time! Haha. they were definitely over due and a before and after might have been fun to do.
