The Ideal Paw

Took my Chihuahua (Coco) in to get her nails clipped. Perfect she was done in no time, great with Coco, and love the clothes and collars they have in there, in fact bought 2 new collars too. Highly recommend.

My fur baby oliver loved it. And kept licking me and licking me the whole way home.I'll over my face and my hands.So he definitely has made a lifetime friend.And we will be back. Thank you for letting on my fur baby as much as we do.

I’ve taken my greyhound here several times for nail trims and had great experiences—until today. A new staff member, who specializes in nail trims, took my dog back, and it went poorly from the start. She didn’t let him acclimate and he was visibly reluctant to enter the room, which was alarming. While he was inside, I heard her using negative tones and my dog was obviously scared, slamming into the door and crying. I ended up having to call for another groomer to come in, who then spoke kindly to him while they presumably addressed the bleeding from several nails she had quicked. Mistakes happen, but my dog's nails are large and the quicks are easily visible. When she brought him out, he was clearly distressed- panting heavily, trembling, and limping. I’m sharing this to warn other pet owners not to allow this new staff member to handle their dogs.

They always do a great job with my two dogs! They get a bath and nails and ears cleaned every 8 weeks. My Jack is a handful and they handle him very well 😊

Our pup needed quite the trim after a long winter's growth. He's a tad shy but the folks at The Ideal Paw made him feel right at home. They took great care of him and did an excellent job delivering exactly what we wanted with a pretty ambiguous description on my part. Very happy and will be returning in the future.

He is not friendly when he is getting his hair cut or nails cut, but they always do a great job.
