Gem State Grooming

Our Little Mr. Bailey Man just got his wonderful new furdo this morning from Anna at Gem State Grooming! We switched to her last year, and we're so glad we did! Thank you Anna for always taking such great care of our Little Man, and for always giving him and us a great grooming experience!

Anna loves my dogs and they love her. She does a great job and is very patient with them. She is a quality groomer and prides herself with doing the best she can. Great job Anna!

We had Anna groom our 10 yr old Australian Shepard who had never been to a grooming salon before. I was anxious that he would be stressed. I heard such good things about Anna’s focus on personalized attention and calm environment from family who uses her salon for their dogs. When we cave for a visit, we scheduled an appointment with Anna. Buddy went right to Anna and did not get anxious throughout his grooming. When he was finished Anna sat down on the floor next to him and Buddy went over and sat in her lap! Buddy looked like a new dog and was so much more comfortable. Anna is truly a Gem! I recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a calm, one on one experience focused on your dogs well being and a grooming result that gets lots of compliments.

Anna has been grooming my 13-year old golden retriever for the past few years, and she was the first person to figure out how to eliminate my retriever’s fear of the hair dryer. Sadly, my pup started having anxiety issues brought on by aging, and I was becoming concerned about her being in a facility that worked on several dogs at a time. My pup had recently been diagnosed with cancer, so that, coupled with her anxiety, had me thinking I’d have to find a quieter grooming atmosphere. To my surprise, Anna announced that she would be starting her own grooming business... and, amazingly, her new salon is exactly what my pup needs. She works on one dog at a time, and the salon is really clean and professionally set up. My pup’s first visit was great, and she was calm throughout the process. Anna is very caring and detail oriented, and it shows in her work. I always get compliments on my pup's cuts. I’m so very lucky and thankful that Anna decided to strike out on her own; having this kind of one-on-one care at this point in my retriever's life, is such a huge relief and so very appreciated.

Anna has been grooming our dogs for several years. I feel very comfortable leaving them for a few hours knowing they are safe and well cared for. After their grooming they look and feel clean and shiny and happy. So fluffy…yet less hairy.

Anna continues to do an amazing job. She is very friendly and easy to work with. Our dog loves to go to her and has never had a bad haircut.
