Sloppy Dog Wash

I am disappointed with this dog wash at this particular location because it's one that I have used many times and the service has been good. I walked in at 5: 16 to do a self-serve dog wash which takes me a total of about 15 minutes to do with a smaller dog that has short hair and receptionist told me that they do not accept self-serve dog washes after 5:15. I understand by the time I was literally 1 minute late, but with the business that closes at 6:00 p.m. it was pretty disappointing to be turned away at that time.

The self serve wash was a LIFESAVER! My golden retriever rolled in mud today and I avoid washing her myself since it takes so long to dry her but it was unavoidable. The dryer provided made quick work of drying her (done within 15 minutes) and the raised tub and provided shampoo, conditioner, and facial made bathing her easy as well! Will definitely be back in the future

Would not recommend. I have reached out to the owner through Facebook and asked them to contact me and have not heard back anything for 2 weeks so I’m leaving a review. We took our dogs here for grooming back in like 2014 and had a good experience so we decided to try again. We took our dog in for a groom…got a call that our dog kept trying to bite the groomer so they could not finish and would only charge us for a bath. I am not saying it didn’t happen but in over 9 years of taking this dog to get groomed and never a complaint about behavior (in fact everyone generally loves him) I am highly suspicious of the claims. This dog has a very thick coat and is not easy to groom (I would imagine…I’m not a groomer) so I suspect it was just too much for the groomer. The groomer should have communicated this at drop off. (Another note for drop off…the woman there was very unfriendly). When we picked him up we saw his coat had been hacked up on his hind end. He was not dry and when I brushed him the next day, he was not cleanly bathed. I want my money back for the bath as this has ended up costing more money than it would have, had we just waited until our regular groomer got us in, since we have to pay for it also.

Had the most horrible experience. My schnauzers were groomed a few weeks ago, and when we got them home and had a good look at them we were not at all pleased with the way they were cut. Their coat look like it have been hacked about by a complete amateur leaving them with some bald patches on their chest, legs, and head. When I mentioned it to the staff, the response was I will have to write a complaint by email. My son wrote it, and we are still waiting for an answer!! I will not be returning to the establishment. I would not recommend this shop at all.

They were great! Today (9/16/25) I brought in Hank, a Labradoodle, and Coco, an Aussiedoodle. I am very satisfied with how they turned out. The groomers asked a lot of questions wanting to make sure they got it right. They did. The price was $75 each. Way cheaper than PetsMart. I'll definitely take them there again.

Do not take your dog to Sloppy Dog Wash for grooming services because your dog will look like this and you might be overcharged for those horrible services like I was. The co-owner, Eric Brown, while quick to respond to my email stating my dissatisfaction, is nasty and passive-aggressive in his attempt to make things right. He offered store credit for the overcharge when I told him twice I would not be back, and then he fired me and said good riddance and also said that he will make sure all the groomers in this community know how insensitive I am to paying for grooming services. I had a groomer for 5 years until she retired. Never did I have a problem paying for her services, especially when she raised her rates, because that groomer provided good service and communication. So long Sloppy Dog Wash!

Briana did an AMAZING job on my Pyrenees Malia! She looks so beautiful! And they loveddddd the cookies! Malia obviously eats like a lady and I’m not sure Sam even chewed his lol 10/10 recommend!!
