Bark Avenue Grooming and Boarding

Loved it! 10 out of 10, would recommend and be back again 🙂 After being dissatisfied with the service, results, and prices of previous groomers - we started grooming our dog at home. Anyone who has tried that understands how time consuming it can be. Bark Avenue is a breath of fresh air. The staff are excellent. They are super kind and knowledgeable. The owner, Brandi, was so nice as to do our dog’s grooming herself and it turned out better than what we could ever have imagined. She was professional, friendly, and even gave us some tips for trimming him at home. Thanks for the wonderful grooming experience.

I’ve been taking my two Yorkies to Bark Avenue for over five years now, and I can’t say enough great things about this team! From day one, they’ve treated my pups like family—with patience, love, and the kind of care that gives me total peace of mind. My Yorkies can be a bit particular (as Yorkies often are!), but the groomers here know exactly how to handle them with gentleness and professionalism. They always come back looking and smelling amazing—clean, well-trimmed, and most importantly, happy. The staff is kind, reliable, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find that combination of skill and heart, but Bark Avenue delivers every single time. Thank you for keeping my fur babies looking their best all these years! You’ve earned our trust for life. 🐾

They treat my dog like their own. They keep great notes on instructions and remember exactly what my dog needs and wants. She HATES her nails trimmed, but they have earned her trust and they can do that step too without trauma. She is usually very scared at the groomers, but she knows she is loved here.

This place is every dog owners worst nightmare! My 1.5 year old Cavapoo puppy had a horrifying experience when grooming at Bark Avenue in cedar park. Our cavapoo dog had multiple nicks and one deep cut after his grooming session at Bark Avenue on 09/17/2020. The staff ignored our instructions and were very negligent with our pet. I’ve had to rush our dog to the Hospital to get stitches. My pup has 7 staples, 3 weeks course of antibiotics, painkiller and a cone for 3 weeks. The owners of this place and the staff have no empathy towards pets. This grooming place lost my trust on multiple fronts, they didn't call me or text me to let us know that they had injured my puppy during grooming. The owner offered to pay for the hospital bills if I removed the review I left on their facebook page about my experience. I decided to NOT accept that offer because its more important to me to share my experience so other pet owners can read and make an informed decision. The grooming salon team eventually deleted all the reviews from the facebook page. I hope you read this message so you can save your precious puppy from going through the stress and pain that ours did.

They always do a great job and are very attentive! I can tell they love dogs and really take their time with our labradoodle. They even took special care her first few times so she wouldn’t be nervous!

Worse place ever. Do not use this place for your pets , They don’t care about your pets , they injured my dog and blame on him , told me he scratched his eyes himself, it’s not possible dog do it himself, I took the my dog to hospital immediately. Vets said they cut it by scissors, Called couple time to talk with management never call me back. I highly recommend do not use this business. It’s not 1 time , I read all reviews it’s happens before, they don’t care , unfortunately. This place should be closed never bring your pets to this business.

As far as grooming goes my girls always look good when they are done. I have not had a bad experience. It appears they care about the animals and take their time to make them as comfortable as possible. Kristi is my groomer and she has always done a good job. As far as working there, I would not recommend it. They did my daughter pretty dirty. Makes me question what kind of people own this place.
