Gwen's Pet Grooming

Dropped off my cat at 1130 to get groomed. She was gonna bath her cut out mats cause she is 13 yrs old and doesnt do the best at grooming. She said she had a cancellation and bring her in. Took her in and she said its generally 4 hrs but she would call. 330 decided to swing in and check and my cat was in her kennel in a cage. Asked how she was doing she said good and shes behind so run some errands and she will call. There was someone else there who had been going there for 13 yrs and her dog had an express service and still wasnt done and she dropped off her dog at noon. She said if I were you I would take your cat and go. So i asked her what had been done and basically in 4 hrs she had given my cat a bath. Otherwise sitting in her kennel in a cage lets say the other 3.5 hours. She was very snarky with the other lady when she was trying to check out. I took my cat home and she said you can just take her no charge and went back to the employee area. NEVER WILL GO BACK!

He always goes in looking a little homeless and comes out looking like a million bucks!!! The ladies are amazing and so nice!!! My favorite part aside from the treats are the free roaming cats, I love petting them 🥰 Though my kid did try to climb in the window sill today thinking it was a bed for kids 😅 now he is old with some bumps and crusties, whose farts can peal paint 🤢 But he's our sweet ol Mr Grumpy pants 😍

I’ve taken my dog there a few times now and he always looks AMAZING!! They also give him a bandana and treat bag. Over Christmas they made me an ornament for him which almost made me cry, it was so thoughtful and I can tell they truly care about the dogs! My parents brought there dog there yesterday and Sarah Beth made him look perfect!! We’ll continue coming to Gwen’s for sure!

I can't rave enough about how great of a job Paige did on my senior dog Cali. She did a great job. Her coat felt so silky smooth and she just looked absolutely adorable. Thank you again Paige for taking such great care of my old girl!! I recommend Gwen's Pet Grooming hands down. All the groomers do such an amazing job!

We appreciate taking our cats Sol and Freyja for grooming. In the summer months with a lot of pickers that get tangled in there long fur, we get lion cuts. In the winter months we get a sanitary cut. The pictures are cats before grooming.

My parents have been loyal customers at Gwen’s Pet Grooming for over a decade, entrusting their beloved dog, Zeek, to their care. Unfortunately, recent events have left us deeply disappointed and heartbroken. On Saturday, June 1st, Zeek was left in a kennel for hours, clearly distressed before being groomed at Gwen’s. They never mentioned he was unwell or distressed. Tragically, he passed away shortly after returning home from the groomer on the way to the emergency vet. The lack of empathy and compassion from Gwen’s during this heartbreaking time has been disheartening. Despite reaching out to Gwen’s, my parents received no returned call, no letter, and no sympathy. For a place that claims to care about animals, this silence speaks volumes. Over the years, my parents have spent thousands of dollars at Gwen’s, expecting not just professional grooming but also genuine care for their furry family member. Sadly, that expectation was not met. Zeek, who was groomed regularly every 6-8 weeks, had only been featured twice on Gwen’s Facebook page despite his long history with the establishment of over a decade. If you truly care about your pets, I urge you to seek grooming services elsewhere. Here is the picture they took of him prior to his death the same day that my Mother had to request for them to send her.

So sad to see the abuse of animals of still happening. Many times, I would pick up my poodle and Gwen would say, oh she must have allergies. No, she skinned her too close. One time, Gwen stated that she must have a hot spot because she had a flaming red leg. I, regrettably, thanked her for telling me and bought my poodle medicine. Gwen came highly recommended to me back in the day so I did not doubt her. Do not trust them at all - I can only imagine if the owner was telling me this for years, she also trained her staff to cover up as well. The worst part was when my poodle came home with a bite mark on her neck. And, of course, when I called Gwen, she said it didn't come from them and stated that it must have come from another dog in my neighborhood - it did not as we just walked in the door and I looked at her closely. That was the tipping point and the last time we ever went to her. Shame on you, Gwen, and hope others see this to save their animals from the pain and suffering that you have caused my poodle. I want to think that you once had a heart in this and compassion for what you did as I was referred many years ago to you as you were "one of the best". I regret ever walking through your doors.
