Susan does an amazing job cutting my dogs. She has groomed all of my dogs through the years and always does a great job even though that they are different breeds. Kind and caring when it comes to dealing with my dogs as well. Plus, Susan is a great person in general. I highly recommend taking your dogs here.

12/30/25 Update: I’ve been trying to call and it says the phone is not in service, so I stopped by and it looks like it’s not in business or Susan went on vacation but I don’t see any lights on or any grooming table behind the desk… Susan is a saint of a groomer she truly loves what she does and it shows through her grooming, she took her time with my babies and made sure I liked the outcome before leaving and if there was something I wanted shorter she would go back over it. Definitely going to be a regular customer for years to come!

I cannot say enough good things about Bucky’s- if you’re looking for a great groomer in Charlotte, look no further!! I just picked up my 6-month-old girl and the first thing I did when I got home was have a photoshoot so I could show everybody! She looks so beautiful! I brought pictures of the cut I wanted, and they executed it perfectly on her. Staff was incredibly friendly and treated her like their own dog. When I came to pick her up, she was not ready to leave because she was having a great time there! Considering this was her first groom, I was worried it was going to be a stressful situation but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. So important for them to have a positive association with the groomers and Bucky’s definitely gave her that.

Let me start by saying that as long as Bucky's is open, I will be a loyal customer. I truly dread the day anyone from their amazing team retires—groomers like this are rare to find. The staff is incredibly kind and clearly loves what they do. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals. One of the things I appreciate most is that they let the pups roam freely in the back room, so you don’t have to worry about your furbaby being stuck in a crate for hours. It’s such a comforting and thoughtful environment. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

After living in Charlotte with a Golden almost 10 years, I am so glad to have found Bucky's after being dissatisfied with other options. My kids fight over which one gets to tag along to drop off or pick up and visit the sweet kitties at the front desk. Our pup goes from projectile shedding to show quality in the blink of an eye. Highly recommend!

We hated dropping our dog off at petsmart with their industrial crates in the back. This place has a home-vibe with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. We knew our dog was safe and comfortable here!

Almost two yrs ago when I first got my puppy(Toby) after my 9 yr old shih tzu died of a heart attack because he was so afraid of the groomers in petsmart I thought to myself "Im going to find a small business groomer, maybe they care a little more of our loving pets" but unfortunately thats not the case here. I been taking Toby since maybe before he was one yr old because i wanted him to fell comfortable and not feel scare. The lady there made me feel so comfortable and really made me believe she cared. Its been already two occasions where she has hurt my little Toby(Shih Tzu as well). First time she cut inside my Toby’s ear causing cuts and bruises. I was like maybe he moved and was an accident but now that i took him last Friday he came home with both of his front bottom paws cut!!! He was having trouble walking because he was in pain!😡 Im very disappointed in this business for being so careless. That is the LAST time I will ever take my dog there or even recommend this place!
