PetSmart Grooming

Ok, I've tried to give petsmart on ikea the benefit of doubt because my dog was going there since a baby. But the last 2 visits make me realize that it's time to move on. Drop my dog of today and got almost home and the groomer Julie called me and said celo is sick. You need to pick him up. So I went back to get him rushing, thinking my dog was sick. Get there, the groomer ask was I picking up. I said, Celo. So she asked Julia was Celo ready. She wouldn't answer. Asked her to come back there and told her like I couldn't hear her. He was acting crazy. Lol, just wondering who was acting crazy. Her or Celo. So I asked did she say he was acting crazy? But literally called me and told me he was sick. Last straw for me. They had gotten really slack. Wasn't trimming his nails correctly and never gave him his bandana that was part of his deluxe package. So if anyone can recommend a good groomer besides petsmart. I would really appreciate it. I know im not the only one having problems because there barely full like they use to be. But whoever still goes there. Don't get Julia or Gabrielle. The worse groomers I've encountered thus far. Wouldn't even give 1 star but had to give something to move on. Done with them at this point.

**THEY CUT MY DOGS EAR/ PICKED UP AT VET** Dropped off my dog at 10:30am, called in at 1:30pm they said to give them another hour. Got a call at 2:30pm stating my dog was at Banfield because the groomer "Lala" snipped his ear! My dog is a very calm 10 year old shih tzu, it's one thing for them to have him there all day but to cut his ear to the point where I have to pick him up at the vet is insane. also given he causes ZERO issues. Manager was very apologetic but when i arrived at Banfield associate who took my dog didn't even acknowledge me or apologized or anything she just quickly left. I tried calling Petsmart back more than 5 times but none of my calls were answered. Ridiculous. DO NOT GROOM HERE !! he wasn't even cut or washed properly when picked up. If you really want your pet groomed at Petsmart PLEASE go to Cotswold location!

I came in with my dog today who hasn’t been seen yet by the groomers. She had me write my name down on the waitlist and said it would be 20 minutes, and she’d give me a call. I came in 50 minutes later after hearing nothing from them. When I walked in, she said "I totally forgot about you to be honest." I clarified that she was ready for my dog and came back in with her (we were both in my car with the windows down). She then asked me questions about my dog, including age, weight, and breed. When I said she was a mixed breed, she asked "mixed with what, like pit?" I told her again that I didn’t know her breed and that it was unlikely she was part pitbull and likely she’s part cattle dog (she is a rescue and I haven’t had her DNA tested). She then asked if she was vaccinated for Rabies, and I told her yes. She asked for the proof and I told her I didn’t have it on her. She said she needed the proof to trim her nails, and I told her again that I didn’t have it, and we left. I understand that proof is needed before the procedure, but the fact that she never mentioned this when I first came in, almost an hour before I re-checked with no call, was very frustrating. She had no concern for our time whatsoever. I will not be bringing my dog back to this location for her grooming, probably ever.

After speaking with some extensively, for days, about my dogs grooming needs, I arrive at the Grooming Salon only to be turned away. After confirming my numerous conversations by phone and email, the salon manager simply states, "Well, I didn't speak with you, and I won't help you today," then she turned me away. Honestly, it was the rudest experience I've ever had; and I wish I could've retaliated appropriately.

Never had a bad experience with this location everyone was nice I got the help I needed when I asked.. I’m eager to see how their dog grooming services are

I had a pretty decent shopping trip. I didn't have a problem finding what I needed as the shelves were well stocked. The checkout line was long, but was made bearable seeing the cute fur babies coming and going.

It's my favorite store to get live crickets and cat food. The people working there are always helpful .
