Urban Dog

We just had our first grooming experience and we cannot say enough good things! I recently adopted a golden doodle who was severely matted and needed love and a good groom! Mattie and team worked their magic and did a fantastic job with Daisy’s first cut and made Daisy feel comfortable! I’m looking forward to taking my other pup to them as well! Definitely recommend!

Urban Dog is hands down the best groomer I’ve ever experienced, I could go on forever about how wonderful the experience is!!! Mattie truly takes the time to listen to what you’re looking for and does such an amazing job. I’ve had my mini doodle, Remy fully groomed twice with her so far and each time has been absolutely perfect. In addition to being a top notch groomer, the shop is also extremely clean and welcoming. I can’t imagine going anywhere else ☺️

Love this place and so do my dogs! They take time to ask questions and listen to what you want. The salon is calm and peaceful and the dogs enjoy it. Gary and Rosie are never mad when we take a trip to Urban Dog! I'm so glad I found them and I recommend them to everyone I meet!

Spoke with Mattie about grooming my long haired Bernedoodle about a week ago and was advised to not bathe him and brush him out in head of time… I even upfront offered to stay and help at the time of the appointment if need be. Arrive for the appointment just to be told by the owner? "I don’t really know what you’re going for but it’s going to cost a lot of money" without discussing anything else really at all. She said because it was going to take them about 2 hours just to bathe and brush him to even start cutting… My dog swims a lot and is getting messy all the time so I know the amount of work that is needed and by putting off his bath another week just to have them turn around and want to act as if it’s a hassle is ridiculous to me. Safe to say, if you just want your dog shaved or whatever this may be for you still but if your dog might require a bit more attention look elsewhere… sad part is I even have it all on video getting him excited to go and was excited for a before and after but I guess some peoples time is just too valuable lol Edit: don’t get me wrong I understand it might be a lot of work… but to say "it’s going to cost a lot" without any specific prices or any real care going into it is CRAZY.

I had the best experience here!! My old groomer was getting too busy and I could barely get them on the phone, but my 5lb shih tzu really needed a hair cut and the works. Her undercoat gets matted easily and shes super playful so she gets all kinds of things stuck in her fur. I saw an ad for Urban Dog on instagtam and on a whim I called them. Not only were they able to get her an appointment less than a week away, they were super understanding and non judgemental about her messy hair. They kept her teddy face and tail but cut her short so her hair would look nice, and they did a great job on her nails and fur around the eyes!!! Also- I got the time wrong and arrived an hour late and they STILL took her in and didnt even make me feel bad about it. And when I picked her up my pup was sitting un the window watching the cars drive by!! She was so happy!! I cant tell you how grateful I am, thank you Urban Dog! (And please ignore the messy background and focus on my happy pup)

Cannot say enough about how great our experience was with Urban Dog. We recently moved and needed a new groomer for our golden doodle. They did an amazing job and I felt very comfortable that we were leaving our dog in good hands. The price was competitive or better than any other reputable grooming I could find in town. Will absolutely be taking our dog here as long as we live in the area.

As adorable as my little Shih Tzu already is, Urban dog grooms him to make him even more adorable! Every detail shows in their work…face, ears, tail, legs and feet…he looks like a show dog after they’re done. Highly recommend Urban Dog grooming!
