I’ve been bringing my Frenchie, Tito, to The Dog Room for over two years now, and they are essentially family at this point. As a small business, they go above and beyond—they actually call me to schedule his appointments because they know I’m forgetful, which is a lifesaver. The best part? It’s a cage-free environment. For a breed like a Frenchie, less stress is everything. Evan is incredible and always adapts to Tito’s changing skin needs throughout the seasons, so I never have to worry about irritation. They have his "wash day" routine down like clockwork: bath, and hype him up for his pup cup, then off to see Grandma. It’s half the price of the big-box brands but with twice the compassion. If you want a place that actually knows your dog's name and needs, this is it.

Love this place! They do not cage the dogs & only groom a few at a time. Their service is so quick (usually done in an hour or so) & their hours are pretty flexible. They always try their best to accommodate you (& your dog) when they can. Thank you to The Dog Room for making my boy look extra handsome!

Truly love this place the staff are so friendly and my dogs have a forever home. Always so caring, attentive, and do a great job with watching my dog (s) when I leave for out of town. Truly am grateful for the dog room. My dogs made new friends.Thank you Evan, and Patrick truly incredible people!

I’ve been taking my Lhasa Poo here for about 6 years now. Even after I moved 45 minutes away I still make the drive to take my baby to get groomed by Yuri ( but really everyone is great there). They are very kind and I love how there’s no cages. The usual wait is a little over an hour ( my dog is 19lbs) and the prices are very reasonable. I will only trust The Dog Room to care and groom my baby. Thank you for your great service! I highly recommend.

I absolutely love how this place takes care of Tobi. Every single time he's there, he's so pampered and happy when he walks out, I love it. Prices are based on the dog breed & size, but it's all-inclusive pricing - I pay a reasonable price to get my dog groomed (this includes bath, haircut, nail trimming, and teeth cleaning). It doesn't take more than about 1.5 hours for him to be ready for pick up, which is so much better than any petco, petsmart, or anywhere else you would typically take your dog to. The best part is that dogs are NOT caged! They are sitting by the window, just hanging out and waiting for their owners to pick them up. This is great because my dog isn't stressed when I pick him up. I have never had any issues with any of the workers or other dogs. It's a wonderful facility and i highly recommend it.

They fitted me in at the last minute. My dog has a big tumor and is very old. They were extremely gentle with her and she looks amazing!!! Our first time here and we will be back! Reasonable prices!!! Amazing! Highly recommend!!

Yuri at the dog room is the best groomer in Chicago. She is skilled at cutting and has a wonderful way with dogs. She has groomed my poodle tony for the last eight years and She cuts with precision and creativity. Tony is a shy dog but loves going to see his auntie Yuri. They have a special bond. Another major plus is your pet is ready to be picked up in two hours. If you are looking for an expert groomer Yuri is the one!
