Petco Grooming

Very disappointed. We’ve never used a Petco/chain groomer and never will again. We travel full time and our 5YO shihpoo gets haircuts all over the country every 6-8 weeks. We booked an appointment, brought her in, even sent a picture of her haircut to them. They called for the groomer that was doing her but she never came—warning bell 1. 3.5 hours after dropping her off, we got a text to pick her up. When we arrived we were told we had to pay before we could get/see her—warning bell 2. When we saw her, she did not look at all like a shihpoo, or the photo. The ears were clipped to the skin, some places on her the hair was cut close, others had patches with longer hair that was missed or just smoothed down to hide it—she’s so uneven. Tail wasn’t trimmed as requested. Paws were not cleaned up around the paw pads—it still looks like the trim we gave them a couple weeks ago so she had traction. Her belly was uneven. Her leg hair doesn’t even look like it was more than just passed over lightly. For a $90 haircut for a 15 lb dog, I’m shocked. We didn’t say anything since we leave in 2 days and they couldn’t fix it until it grows out. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Please retrain your groomers so they know how to make a dog look like their breed.

Normally, I'm quite satisfied with the service. Yesterday I took my pup for bath and haircut by the lead and when I went to pick up my pup, I didn't see a huge difference. The only instruction was not to cut the hair off of my pup's tail. For almost $100 for a 4lb pup is expensive so I expect the best work. Very disappointed that I have to leave work to have the work redone. I fear retaliation of the redo but I already paid for the service and hope that they treat my pup wire kindness during the redo. I don't mind paying for the service when it's done right!

Every single Staff member at this Eastlake store makes my visit with Zeus worry free and delightful. A Big Shout Out to Andrew for always making the effort and time to keep Zeus groomed . Thank U . Very Accommodating and every is nice and friendly.

Petco usually do a great job but on the last appointment. Mochi was give back to us wet, I expected him to be fluffy and dry but he is wet. The attendant said it was water, I am glad it was just water and not something else since he is "freshly bathe". I am not happy with our pet being returned wet

Loki goes every two weeks to get a full service and de-shedding. Louis does a wonderful job. Love the way he smells when he comes home on the day of grooming.

One groomer was good, the other one awful. The whole experience was bad, the appointments were all messed up, the new groomer was arguing with me, and they wanted to keep my senior dog for over 5 hours. I took him home after 3 hours and will never take any of my four dogs there again. They still charged me full price for subpar service for my senior dog. They used to do good work 10 years ago, too bad they are no longer any good.
