Petco Grooming

We would like to take a moment to thank Alexis, our groomer at Petco for working with our hairy sons, Bobo and Aspen for the last four doggie spa days. Always happy and so great with animals, Alexis puts us at ease. You can tell she's not only great with animals, but she's always attentive to our needs as customers. I'm happy to recommend her services. In a day and age when it's hard enough to find employees with a pulse, we would like to see her acknowledged for her dedication. Also, Skye was very helpful and attentive in taking care of the paperwork and getting us checked in/out.

I specifically asked for a teddy bear cut — even showed my doodles to explain the look I love. Instead, my puppy came back with a poodle look, nothing round or to my liking. I dropped him off at 8:30 and he wasn’t ready until after 3pm, with no explanation as to why it took so long. On top of that, this is the only place I know that charges "material fees" just to do their job, and the price was increased without my knowledge. As a paying customer, I believe I deserve to be informed of those changes. When I voiced my concerns, instead of listening, I was told I was banned. For the record, my puppy was not matted — so that was never the issue. Very disappointed in the lack of communication, professionalism, and customer care.

I paid for the deluxe package... Bathing, de shedding claws trimmed etc. My dog is already shedding and flaking, and although I specifically told them I needed his claws cut as close a possible there are two on his back feet that were left FAR TOO LONG. While I understand that black claws are more difficult, I can EASILY see the pink quick with no assistance 😏 I also informed them of yeast ears, but he's already scratching his ears again. It tipped the groomer $10, but in retrospect she did not earn it. I will never take my dog there again.

Alexis and the rest of the staff take such great care of our fur babies! They love going and we love how pretty they look when they get home! It is not an easy feat grooming a Samoyed. Thank you!!

I was nervous about grooming Lucy (Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix) professionally because she is an extremely anxious dog who yelps and bites at scissors. I was paying over double for several years at the vet to get a sanitary shave and nail trim. The vet suggested giving Petco Grooming a try. I was skeptical because of old online reviews, but I am so happy I did. Alexis is the main groomer there who is extremely patient, kind, and loving to pets. She worked with Lucy slowly and patiently to bathe her, trim her fur, clip her nails, and brush her teeth. She did such a wonderful job! As long as Alexis is there, I will continue to take my anxious Lucy to Petco Grooming! Recently, I took my new pup, Remi (Yorkie) to Petco Grooming with Alexis again and she did a fantastic job with him, too. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Alexis. She truly loves the pets she works with and it shows in her kind, patient and careful technique! <3 First and Second pictures show Lucy BEFORE Petco Grooming. Took longer than expected. My dog wasn't cut the way I requested. I asked for the hair on the body and head to be cut to 1/8" in length and the tail and ears to be left long. Only the body was cut to 1/8" in length and the tail was long, but so was her entire head which looked silly. After waiting so long, I did want to wait for it to be corrected, so I took her home and cut it the way it should've been done in the first place! Anyway, still gave a three-star review because some was done correct and the staff was nice.

I was a little nervous about our Bella going because her breed got such a bad reputation. Her bark is also intimidating. But they loved her. She clearly enjoyed them. The whole grooming experience was great. No judgment just stellar ✨️ service
