Penelopes Parlor

Both of my dogs, Danny and Jill, get top service when they go. Danny (poodle mix) gets his wash/cut/nails and Jill (chiweenie) gets her nails trimmed. The reason I moved to them recently was because my last groomer does not service senior dogs. I was stressed about finding a new groomer. But the staff made the transition easy and my pups are did well there.

Review: I had an extremely negative experience at this establishment. I left my dog there, and after more than three hours, no service had been done at all. When I called to ask for an update, the woman who answered was incredibly rude, yelled over the phone, hung up on me, and said she would not be grooming my dog. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and respect. I do not recommend this place to anyone who cares about good service and proper treatment of both pets and clients.

We absolutely adore Penelope’s Parlor! It’s hands down the best grooming salon we’ve ever come across. Not only is the staff incredibly friendly, but the haircuts are consistently superb. What’s even more impressive is that our dog, Cooper, genuinely enjoys his visits to the groomer. Sam, in particular, goes above and beyond to ensure that Cooper not only looks his best but also feels genuinely loved and cared for. We couldn’t be happier with the service and attention our furry family member receives at Penelope’s Parlor. Thank you for making grooming such a positive experience for Cooper!

I called in desperate need to get my dog in for an anal glad expression. I called and a couple minutes later I was in! Penelope’s Parlor was super gentle and loving with my dog throughout the whole process. Petting her and giving her treats so she was less anxious! I praise them! Will definitely be back❤️

Called to get pricing on a full groom. The girl on the phone was rude. I know sometimes you don’t want to talk to people and I get it, I work a front desk job too but I never once have answered the phone with attitude and short snippy answers. Didn’t appreciate it, also told her I had a doodle and feel like that grossed her out. I know some people don’t like doodles b/c owners don’t know how to take care of them but don’t assume everyone is like that. She just told me they don’t give doodle prices over the phone and that they start at $120. I’m surprised on how rude they were considering two of my friends recommended them to me saying they were amazing. Glad that conversation was bad because now I know to avoid this place if that’s how they treat new customers. Update: I was told the girl answering the phone that day got some bad news before the call. I get it but honestly why did you pick up the phone if you knew you wouldn’t want to talk. I think this is more of the employee than the shop. I think she needs a bit more training.
