Fire Plug Grooming

We have a 6(ish) year old Pekingese rescue named Cubli Wu who has some "issues" and will not let us brush or trim him at home (for some reason he does let us wash him). I told Paula that he would be a challenge and that I understand if they aren't able to work with him. To our surprise and great relief, he has now been 3 times and he does really well each time. Most importantly (to me) he does not seem scared when I return there which tells me he is being treated really well. He looks adorable and they do a great job! You can see from his photos. So grateful to have found Fireplug!

They did a fabulous job on my Pekingese, Kashmir. Very fast service! He was done in a couple of hours. I will definitely go back and highly recommend them for your dog grooming needs. Kashmir had ripped out alot of his hair from having dermatitis from contact with fleas after locating back to the Dallas area from Michigan in April, 26.

DO NOT bring your pet here. If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner is not a nice person at all and neither is most of the staff. Everyone is just very rude and always in a terrible mood. The place smells like weed most of the time and you can often see employees smoking in the back. If you are letting your employees get high on the job, you do not need to own a business. Especially one where you are using blades on live animals. Maybe the staff would be nicer if the owner was nicer. I have stopped referring my friends here. I have started to tell everyone I know not to come here. This place has changed BIG time and not for the best.

I’ve been using Fire Plug for over 20 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Paula and her team are absolutely great. I have miniature poodle whose hair gets matted when it gets longer and we have periods of raining weather. I go to Paula and her team at Fire Plug to help clean my little Samantha up.

Been using Fireplug for 5 years for both of my pups. Great service and reasonable prices. They listen to what you want for your dog’s groom. Would recommend to all!

I drive across town to Fire Plug Grooming because it is SO worth it! I trust them wholeheartedly with my dogs and know they love and care for them. My nervous pup also always feels comfortable there, and she always looks fabulous after her groom!
