Furside Pet Grooming

So Daniel and and his team came well recommended by my neighbours. I brought in my normally grooming anxious golden doodle Lucas, and they handled him with exceptional care and love, and for once in my dog’s lifetime, got to leave the groomer with a proper coat, and a smile on his face. 5/5 will come back for future grooms!

Daniel and his team are amazing with my reactive medical foster Pyrenees... Just as he has been with every dog I have ever taken him to. I had a foster fail pyrenees who was desperately afraid of being left in a medical or grooming situation because she had been abandoned at a vet by her family, But she had no problems going with Daniel or staying at Fur side. I usually groomed my Siberian/ Labrador mix at home, but when I needed to have him groomed professionally, Daniel was the only person I've ever seen who could walk that dog away from me. We’ve been bringing our golden retriever to Furside for about a year, and Daniel and his team consistently do a great job. The only downside is parking can be a bit tricky during busy hours - but being right next door to Inner Voice Brewing and Glide Pizza makes it easy to grab a pie and a 6-pack afterward.

We previously visited Furside in East Atlanta Village, but since they are no longer open, we went to the Decatur location. The gentleman who owns it is amazing and extremely good with dogs. We just went for nail trim and anal gland expression, and in that short period of time I was able to really understand his care for dogs. We will be back!

Just moved to the area and took my two cavapoos for the first time. Staff was so friendly and understanding with us- we were a bit unorganized. They did a great job with my boys, we will be going here from now on for their grooming, so glad we found our new spot for them!

I’m so impressed with their work for my shih tzu’s first haircut here! The team is very kind and prices were very reasonable for the area!

Cut off all of my dog's beautiful spaniel ear fur after I explicitly said let's keep it longer. Every groomer I've ever been to in the 10+ years I've been getting him groomed has known that under no circumstances do you completely chop off spaniel ear fur. You just don't do that, especially if the owner specifically says let's keep it longer. His tail wasn't done when I got there and the groomer also had to clean his eyes in front of me because that wasn't done either. Super sloppy and careless. He also said that my dog was nipping at him which sent alarm bells off for me as my dog has never once in his life done that with a groomer. I only ever get positive feedback on his behavior from every groomer he's ever been to, so I wonder what happened when I wasn't looking. My dog was fine and normal - not nippy at all - when he was back in my care. It's just heartbreaking because he has cancer and will most likely not live long enough for his ears to grow out back to normal - it will take over a year they are so bad - so I get to spend the last few precious months of him here on Earth being unrecognizable to me. This was the worst grooming experience I have ever had.
