Dog Savvy

We were initially frustrated with our experience as we had a short layover in Denver and needed to quickly purchase a leash to replace the one we lost. Unfortunately, the new leash was quite expensive and broke within just a few days after we left the city. However, Rob, the owner (I suppose), responded to our complaint with professionalism and care. While the leash is still broken, we truly appreciate the respectful and attentive customer service, hence the revised review.

Very impressed with the grooming done today for our Golden Doodle. He has very curly hair and Valerie styled and groomed him beautifully! Thanks also to Ke Ke for her service with a smile!

I had shopped here a couple of times previously and always found really cute items and had a great experience, but I brought in my dog for grooming a couple of weeks back and was so impressed. Not only does he look better than he has ever looked following a grooming session anywhere, but he is a mini Aussie who certainly has some separation anxiety, and I have never felt more comfortable leaving him with a groomer. Both our groomer, Sammy, and I believe the owner, were so kind and reassured not only Indy, but also myself. All my friends and family have also raved about how much better his haircut looks than normal too (and the bow tie they sent him home with couldn’t be cuter). Highly recommend and this will absolutely be our regular spot for grooming 🙂

On a business trip to Denver, I went to buy a raincoat and a chew toy for my cavapoo dog. The 2 ladies (I guess 1 is the owner) were very helpful and helped me choose the items I needed. Very pleased with my purchases. My dog especially love the chew toy. Thanks a lot.

dog savvy has been my salvation since I moved to denver nine years ago. i’d never get my dogs groomed anywhere else! when my former dog passed, I could not have asked for more sincere or compassionate condolences from the owner, rob, and even my groomer came out to cry and hug me. every time I need to change or modify an appointment, they couldn’t be more helpful. I brought my next dog there (an anxious rescue dog) and he could not be more relaxed or handsome when I get him back! they also have collars and fun stuff you cannot find anywhere else… truly a unique store that cares about its customers! just got a new puppy and can’t wait to introduce him when he needs a cut! the owner rob even recommended a great vet to me when I first moved to town!

We have a wooly husky so she's got a TON of fur (and she's very playful). We come to Dog Savvy every 2ish months and they do a great job every time. I know we could not knock out her undercoat as well as they do, plus the drying time alone would be ridiculous so I appreciate how quickly they can dry her. She always is excited to visit (and do a little shopping herself) and is in a happy mood when she leaves - pretty sure she loves visiting as much as I enjoy her soft, clean, coat afterwards!
