our bichon frisé had an extreme matting problem and we were luckily able to get services here. the groomer did a very great job to our snowy and was very informative towards maintaining his hair in the future. environment was very friendly and inviting. a perfect experience overall!

I am a pet transporter, Canine Cadi. I have delivered a couple of dogs to this establishment. The staff works hard and they are welcoming and friendly. The dogs seem to approve of them as well.

I took my Australian Shepherd Miniature over to Dog Stylist today. They did an amazing job and were very helpful with tips, and they have a great selection of dog collars that have a lifetime warranty! Super knowledgeable, and absolutely fantastic customer service! This is going to be my permanent groomer. Highly recommend!

I brought my 70lb Labrador to Dog Stylist Inc. in Durham today for grooming. He’s incredibly sweet but very shy, especially in new environments with lots of unfamiliar scents like vets, parks, or groomers. As expected, he was hesitant to enter, and I had to carry him through the door. I explained to the staff that while he’s not aggressive, he just needs a little extra patience and affection to feel comfortable. Unfortunately, instead of working with him, I received a call shortly after saying they would not be able to provide any services because it was "too much" for them. I was disappointed, as I would expect professional groomers to be experienced with dogs of varying temperaments. They made no real effort to work with my dog and didn’t offer any assistance or recommendations when I asked for help finding alternative options — only suggesting that I look into a self-wash service. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and let down. I would not recommend this location if your dog needs a little extra patience or care.

After trying to get through the pandemic grooming her myself, I brought my small labradoodle to The Dog Stylist for the first time recently and had a great experience. My pup can be difficult to groom and the groomers listened to my concerns and made me feel heard. Jill (the owner) did her best to keep some fur on my easily matted labradoodle and she came out looking clean and cute. Thank you Jill and team!
