PetSmart Grooming

The groomer picked up my puppy and scared him in which my puppy reacted and bit him. Normally you would say hello to the dog get to know the dog give the dog a treat but instead he grabbed the puppy. I normally have a woman groom my puppy but she was not available she always got his nails done very quickly within 5 minutes but this guy scared my puppy which was on a leash and he got caught on the groomers table which basically my dog was being hung by his neck as I stood there and shock of what's going on.

I waited for 10 minutes to be greeted at the front to pick up my dog. The entire salon was a mess, and not just dog hair messy, it was absolutely dysfunctional with paperwork spread around all over. When I was finally greeted and I asked for my dog, the woman looked in three separate locations while holding another dogs leash. The poor dog was being pulled around left and right and she still couldn’t find any paperwork for my dog. She then gave up and told another groomer to take care of me instead while she was also actively working on a her own dog and said "can you take care of her? I’m clocking out in 5 minutes". The young lady, clearly frazzled by the sudden ask, hesitated and said yes. The older woman says "great! And please take this dog too" and hands her the dog leash she had in hand so she could walk away and into the back. Took another 10-15 before getting my dog back, not including the line to the register to pay. I don’t care who you are, you do not pawn off your work to a coworker, who is clearly busy, just so you can make sure to clock out when you can. Her priority was clear.

We followed the new manager, Jody, from our closer PetSmart. She is so gentle and caring for my mother-in-law's dog. Her dog had a stressful moment a couple of years ago at the other PetSmart from another groomer, to the point he would pee on the floor when we came in. Jasper is comfortable with Jody. We always request her. Thank you Jody.

Lux treated our dog like royalty. They were very gentle and caring. My dog has seizures and Lux was careful every step not to cause stress for her. Will be back.

I LOVE the grooming salon at PetSmart on Willamette St in Eugene Oregon. The grommers are all thoughtful & kind to the dogs!

They did not treaty dog as requested

The girl who carries a dog in a back pack. Is the rudes person I have ever seen. She was yelling at a customer when I came in. Was thinking it could have been something he had said, no that's just her, they have clearance items all over the store my wife pickup a dog chew toy that the peg said $1.50 for it. She said no that's wrong and had me follow her back to where we got it from. Then she went off on a rant about where the right peg was going all over the store with item in hand. Should have known when I came in she was sitting on her phone doing something other than work. This was the store not groomer.
