Untangled Tail

Brenda has been grooming my dog Callie for years and is the absolute best! Callie gets excited to go into her grooming appointments and comes home relaxed, with a beautiful groom. Brenda always goes above and beyond to give advice on how to maintain her groom between appointments and takes great care of Callie whenever she’s there.

I cannot recommend Untangled Tail enough—truly a 5-star experience every time. Brenda has gone above and beyond for my dog, especially after he had some difficult experiences with previous groomers. From the very beginning, she approached him with so much patience and care, taking the time to build his trust. Now, he handles grooming so much better. It’s clear how much Brenda genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She doesn’t just groom—she pays attention to the little things, like pointing out skin issues early, recommending helpful products, and giving us practical tips to keep him comfortable during future grooming. She’s also organized, easy to communicate with, and just an all-around wonderful (and funny!) person. We feel so lucky to have found Brenda at Untangled Tail.

I can’t recommend Untangled Tail highly enough. I’ve worked with several groomers over the years, and Brenda stands out as the most skilled and professional by far. My dog has very sensitive skin and often had flare-ups after grooming elsewhere, but since switching to Untangled Tail, he’s done exceptionally well. Not only does he always look fantastic, but the appointments are also noticeably more efficient than with other groomers. At this point, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with his care. Beyond her technical skill, Brenda is kind, organized, flexible, and excellent at communication, making scheduling and coordination seamless.

We had an amazing experience here for my little girl Maple’s very first grooming. She’s still a puppy and I was honestly pretty nervous, but Brenda was incredibly patient and gentle. She took the time to let Maple slowly get used to the new environment and all the grooming tools, instead of rushing anything. As a first-time dog owner, I also really appreciated how she explained things along the way and shared so many helpful tips about puppy care and grooming. Maple was treated with so much care and came out calm, happy, and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone - especially if you have a puppy or are new to dog parenting!

Brenda is our favorite groomer! Below the first picture is before and the next 3 are after shots. My dog is extremely hard to groom and was pretty matted (my own fault). Brenda is so gentle and patient with my little guy! She’s been grooming him since he was a puppy. She is fairly priced and her work speaks for itself. Her products are wonderful, my dog smells and feels great for days! His hair is always silky soft when he leaves. I trust her immensely and we always have a laugh when I stop by. She is very educational and sets your dog up for success! If I could leave ten stars I would. She’s worth every penny!

Chloé is thename of my Westie dog. I visit a different Groomer locatios in Cambridge, Medford & Everett. Chloé met Brend by luck, and since that day, she has been grooming Chloé for >3 years. She is an artist, and her dogs clients adore her ❤️ she looks after and loves each of them. Brenda is the best 👌 therefore I I award her with more than 5 stars. I find ridiculous that some people ca write a negative review without having ever used "Untangled Tail" service's. When you take your dog to this Groomer, you will agree with my review.

Brenda is the best and so kind to our little old lady pup. She is the only groomer our dog has ever felt comfortable going to without anxiety. She is super thorough, and Bella always looks (and smells!) like a dream🐾
