Purrs & Gurrs

Purrs and Gurrs is a great place and will probably be our go to place for our pets grooming needs. We recently adopted a 31/2 year old Yorkie terrier. He was a little scraggly, but wanted to wait to have him groomed since it was obvious that he was apprehensive from being moved around. Rudy is a sweet dog and is finally adjusting to his forever home with his new siblings and cousins. Aysel did a great job in cleaning Ruby up. He looks like a completely different dog. Since this is a family owned business, the turnover is low. We will return for sure!!!

We love Purrs and Gurrs! They were so welcoming to my dog who had only ever experienced home grooms up til he was 6 years old. Kaitlin is so kind and patient with Bentlee. Im always happy with how good he looks when we leave!

We have had great experiences here for our two large dogs (Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog). It’s expensive to get dogs their size groomed, but it’s a lot of work for groomers and their prices are very fair. Everyone is always very friendly and our dogs look so handsome after their baths and trims. We will definitely continue bringing them here!

Casper had a bath and brushing today at Purrs & Gurrs of Fishers, and he is now in what I can only describe as the "cat microwave" getting dried. Honestly, given his age, I was fully prepared for a call like: "So… we tried our best, but it turned into a full-scale battle and we may or may not need medical attention for someone involved." I definitely expected to come back to chaos of some kind. Instead, they said he was actually pretty good—just very committed to loudly narrating his dissatisfaction the entire time 😹 At one point, he even said: "I would like to formally object to this situation." No chaos, no blood, just dramatic opinions and wet judgment. If you’re looking for a groomer, I highly recommend them. Everyone there is kind, patient, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. It’s a women-owned business and they are fantastic.

As dog owners, we were completely communicative about our dog’s situation and had approval from the vet that it was fine to have our dog groomed. Plus we personally went into Purrs and Gurrs ahead of schedule to see if our dog could have a groom, which they verified with a yes and put into their notes. However, the day of grooming, a different groomer there decided not to give him a groom and said they would never have said it was ok when in fact they did approve him. Their comment implied that we were lying. It was even in their notes on our account. They were rude, obviously have very poor customer service and bad communication skills with the way they spoke to us! They could have handled the situation better and figured out a solution considering we were long standing customers.

They are amazing when it comes to grooming my cat Daisy. I absolutely love the atmosphere here and they make you feel like family. We will continue to keep coming back. Thank you for making me and Daisy feel comfortable.
