Pups on the Poudre Grooming

Personally, I would not return here for my long-haired dogs. I moved to Fort Collins about a year ago, and this was the first groomer I tried after moving. I specifically asked for a trim and help managing their coats, but instead my dogs received a much shorter haircut than I requested. The cuts were uneven and looked choppy once I brushed them at home. It has now been a year since that appointment, and my dog's coat still has not returned to the way it looked before the grooming. As the owner of a Great Pyrenees mix, I was especially disappointed because I trusted that my request for a simple trim would be followed. I also found the service to be overpriced for the results I received. Before moving to Colorado, I took my dogs to a groomer in California where the pricing was more reasonable and the service felt much more personalized. They took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and tailored the grooming to my dogs' needs. Overall, I was disappointed with both the quality of the groom and the value for the price. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this groomer for long-haired or double-coated breeds.

Pups on the Poudre grooming has consistently underperformed while grooming my dog. I have gone to them for years, and initially they did a good job. The past 5-6 times however, they have NOT done what I wanted in grooming my dog, but are rude as well. I would barely give them one star, and are not worth the service. I will definitely NOT be going back to POTP. Time to find a caring dog grooming professional.

Kind, gentle, patient staff with my teacup chihuahua. Her nails curve into her paw pads severely but, they get it done without her crying! Reasonably priced for nail clips.

I arrived almost twenty minutes late because of traffic and expected them to cancel the appointment. Instead, the receptionist adjusted things and still accepted my bulldog without making me feel uncomfortable. Grooming was done properly, and they even cleaned the folds around his face carefully.

I have been bringing my fur babies to Cory for about 7 years. She does a great job and I am always pleased with her grooming skills. It is a very pleasant environment!

My only regret is that I didn’t take my dog here sooner. I have a 4 year old Pomeranian. Her undercoat had become matted and compacted due to me not brushing her double coat properly. This place did an amazing job of removing all the dead fur that had become stuck in her coat. She felt so soft afterwards and I was so shocked at how well they were able to treat the issue. I had honestly been worried she might need a shave, but they worked on her for two hours and now all of her fur is tangle free. Her coat is a bit thinner from all the volume they needed to remove, but it will grow back and you can’t tell from looking at her. She is also a very anxious dog, but they did a great job with that too.
