Our golden doodle was full of dread locks and she spent 4+ hours on her and educated me on how to prevent this moving forward. Wanted to do another update- we continue to see Melanie and I can’t recommend a better groomer. She’s great with communication, always fits us in and is soooo good with our dog. We can’t imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend!!!

Bella did such a great job with my labradoodle. Beyond that, she did something very important — she pointed out that a limp he had been having for a few days wasn’t cheat grass or a sprained ligament, but swelling above his carpal bone that she suggested could be more sinister and to get into a vet right away. It turned out to be bone cancer, and with a sarcoma, quick action is critical for extending life and quality of life. Without have going to her, I would have left our vet appointment weeks out and have thought it was likely just a sprain instead of pushing to get in ASAP. As I said to her, her advice may have given me extra time with my boy that I wouldn’t have otherwise had. Tell me your groomer goes above and beyond and I’ll do you one better. Go here.

I have an older tripod service dog who is starting to have bad back knees. She took it at his pace and it was noticeable when I arrived. He wasn't pulling to leave the area. When she asked a question about a spot and the answer i gave meant she had to go back and trim some spots for me, Stubbs willingly went back inside without an fight. She definitely has my business from now on. She texts with updates and pictures throughout and is very kind.

My fox terrier, Quincy, loves going to Bella Donna, and so do I. Melanie does a great job with the weekly skin maintenance Quincy requires. And she goes the extra distance clipping nails, expressing glands, cleaning lips, and brushing teeth as those things are needed. As an example of how happy Quincy is, when we get there she runs to the door and scratches to get in! Haven’t ever seen that in 14 years. Melanie’s compassion is remarkable and appreciated by pets and their people.

Melanie did an excellent job grooming my dog. She is so knowledgeable and professional. Her attention to detail and thoroughness is not something I’ve experienced with any other groomer. It’s apparent how much she loves her fur clients. Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing you next time.
