Petco Grooming

Everyone at Petco is so helpful and knowledgeable! Highly recommend Kathy in grooming! My puppies always looks and smell so clean and fresh!

My groomer name was Morgan and she did a wonderful job and my fur baby looks so cute and amazing. The pic in her bed was the before and others after.

My experience at this Petco grooming salon (January) was extremely disappointing. This was my puppy’s first professional groom. She’s a calm golden doodle, so I expected a straightforward experience. The groomer I booked with, Kathy, asked me to come in over an hour earlier so she could leave on time. While she was polite, the groom itself was rushed and poorly done. When I picked up my puppy, her ears were wet and unclean, patches of fur were left uneven, and her paw pads and nails were completely missed — even after returning for corrections. After multiple visits and paying full price with a generous tip, I was offered a refund — and then told they could no longer service my dog. The defensiveness and lack of accountability were shocking. I tried to be respectful throughout, but the staff offered excuses instead of fixing the problem. This review is late because I kept forgetting to write it, but the experience was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Photos included show the poor quality of the groom. She doesn’t look like she was freshly groomed at all in my opinion. All in all, this job was clearly rushed so the groomer could leave early. I’m surprised this salon has so many positive reviews.

My dog, Heidi, had a great grooming experience on Nov 4th. She looks great. Her groomer did an excellent job and even came and commented on how well behaved she was. I didn't get her name, but I was impressed. The whole experience was a "10" in my opinion!

Was very disappointed about my dog’s grooming appointment, first Morgan cut way too much out of my Dog’s tail and it looks awful but we were understanding of that, what really bugged me was that she was very unprofessional and told us really rudely to never bring My dog again to this petco. I was really baffled my dog has never been kicked out of any grooming places and she always gets compliments on her behavior. We understand that our dog is not welcome at petco anymore but there are ways to address it and not be rude about it.

Kathy was very good with my dog (Leo). The service was outstanding, I would not consider any other place. The people take care of your dogs and pets like they are loved. I appreciate all the care and love you shown my beloved dog. Thank you

I took Lila, my yorkie for a grooming appointment. I always use Petco and they have done a wonderful job. But, this time Lila looks like a chiwawa! I am so disappointed! The thing that bothers me is they looked at her file and asked me if I still wanted her hair short and her face cut like a teddy bear, which we always do. It is a Yorkie face with hair in a round cut. She was completely shaved, does not even look like a Yorkie. It will take forever for her hair on her head to grow. I was so disappointed I did not say a word. My husband called and complained. We told them it is only hair, but it is very upsetting to me. They have cut her for a couple of years, I just do not understand.
