The Valley Grooming

We brought our puppy here for his very first groom after doing a lot of research, and the experience was extremely disappointing. His haircut was completely uneven and poorly done. His tail (which is docked) was trimmed into a sharp point, the front of his face was shaved with no blending into the rest of his curls, and his ears were cut crookedly. The nail trim we paid for was also forgotten until I reminded the groomer, and even then they weren’t able to complete it because he yelped, which concerned me to the point where I let the groomer know I would finish the job at home myself. We reached out privately with photos, and the only solution offered was a touch-up. The haircut isn’t fixable and simply has to grow out, so a touch-up was not helpful. When we requested a refund or even a partial refund due to the quality of the service, we were told no because "the time was provided." We understand what to expect from a first-time puppy groom. We had very realistic expectations, but this went far beyond that. For nearly $80, the quality should have been much better, and the refusal to offer any refund, to me, showed a lack of accountability. We won’t be returning.

I’m really happy with this place and highly recommend Nicole. My Goldendoodle is very anxious and hard to groom, but she was patient and did an amazing job. He looked great and wasn’t stressed afterward. If you have a high-maintenance doodle, this is the place to go. Thank you, The Valley Grooming—you’ve gained a loyal client!

This place was great! 1= they have a website that you can review. 2-They respond quickly 3- they respond via text 4- give prices up front... no we'll have to see your dog first 5- then place is calm and comfortable. 6- my dog left happy not scared like from a couple of other places he's been. Will definitely go back.
