Aunt Jackie's Pet Salon

She did a great job bathing and clipping both my dogs nails. One is a hyper active, young golden retriever and the other is an old, stubborn and anxious terrier mix. I can’t image they gave her an easy time. Thanks for your help!!

I was in the hospital n my daughter from Louisiana went there n they worked my Bella in (Bella is a Yorkiepoo) as she needed grooming so bad. I am just getting over cancer n stays sick a lot.

I've been taking my dogs(4 of them) to Aunt Jackie's for years. She is so dedicated that she starts early in the morning and sometimes is still in her shop late at night, she is so kind to my pets, she pays special attention to any and all my grooming requests, and I wouldn't think of using another groomer.

Honestly doesn’t even deserve a 1 star review. Dropped my doodle off at 8am and told her I still wanted her to have hair(NOT BUZZED) I wanted her fluffy and her face fluffy she even showed pics of how she would cut it. Took 10 HOURS later for her to finish and text me she’s ready for pick up after calling 2 times within those 10 hours with no answer or call back so I drove up there she said she was working on her right now so I couldn’t get her then 3 hours after that she was done at 6:30pm I picked her up and she was completely buzzed to the skin with only her tail not cut or even touched. I was told she had tangles "and should feel better now" when i know she didn’t she was brushed and given bathes so much anyways they buzzed her without even calling or letting me know before she was going to make my doodle bald no updates at all never again will I take any dog here or even recommend this place to any dog owner ever don’t know how this place is still in business.

Update: I just wanted to provide an update in case it helps anyone. I recently moved and have groomers all over the place, but I will continue to take my dogs to Aunt Jackie's because I trust them to treat my dog well & be patient with her. I also know that my dog is comfortable with them. She's getting old and her joints hurt. She had a bout of Vestibular Disease that has left some lasting symptoms. I do my best to not stress her out & AJ's helps with that a lot. She's a lot of work, but they handle her well. Aunt Jackie's has always been great and welcoming. I first took a dumped dog there because he stunk (after a vet appointment of course) and Jackie was very understanding of the situation and took great care of the old man. I recommended this place to my parents and they love it.. My groomer across the street had to quit doing my dog due to her size and the groomer having health problems so I took my dog here and she did really great. My dog has extreme anxiety, but she didn't seem bothered by her experience. She smelled and looked great too.

Always like taking Admiral to Aunt Jackie's. She does a very good job.
