Arya the diva is a husky who loves getting pampered at ridge dog shop, their grooming and other services are spectacular. Ridge dog shop is the best in the Richmond metro area. I tried other groomers, no one comes close to their quality and thoroughness.

Ridge Dog Shop has been so great with my Huskies. They do a terrific job with seasonal deshedding and helped me with a completely matted rescue Husky. They have been great at getting me in quickly when I’ve had emergency grooming needs. Even without emergencies they can usually get me in within a week. With the exception of the holidays understandably. I love that I have until 10am to drop off. The new owner and technicians are caring, gentle, and excellent at what they do. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

We’ve taken our three dogs here for years now and they have taken amazing care of all of them! The staff are friendly, made our dogs happy to visit, didn’t keep them longer than necessary, and most of all they gave them great haircuts each time! They even take the time to get to know your dog and make recommendations if they think it is beneficial to them. One of our dogs has dry/flaky skin and they took the time to discuss using a special shampoo when she gets groomed and it’s made a world of difference. Another bonus is that this shop is affordable compared to other groomers in the area. Definitely give them a try, you won’t regret it!

I’d give Ridge Dog Shop more stars if I could! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and take excellent care of Horatio, my son’s terrier mix. We bring in a shaggy pup and they make him a handsome fella! He smells good from appt to appt and his coat looks wonderful every time. And the best part, we drop him off at 7 am and he’s done usually before 9:30am. Horatio gets a little separation anxiety so he loves that we can pick him up so quickly. And great service at a reasonable price!! So thank you Jeannie, Ryan, Emily and all the wonderful staff at Ridge Dog Shop!

Canon is always treated so wonderfully at Ridge and she is always super excited to be there. Staff is super friendly and treats canon so nice every time. Consistently gives great baths. Prices are very reasonable.

Thank you all for grooming my two labs! They did an awesome job! My two labs can be a handful because of their anxiety, so I appreciate you all working with them. They came home smelling good and their coat was clean and shiny. I appreciate you all!

I took my 4 month old Westie to Ridge Dog Shop for his first ever grooming and they did an excellent job! The staff was friendly and welcoming, they were kind to Buster and he looks and smells fantastic! You can also bring your dog in to get their nails trimmed on a walk in basis from 10-4 which is super convenient. So grateful to have found this place just minutes down the road!
