Petco Grooming

I am extremely unhappy with the grooming service my dog received. He came in fluffy, and I specifically asked for a teddy bear face. The groomer, Cynthia, told me she would not cut him too short because it was his first groom, which I understood. I even offered to show her a photo, but she said she understood and we reviewed a length chart together. She did the exact opposite of what we discussed. My dog was cut down to his skin, so much that he was completely unrecognizable. There was a yellow sticky note on his paperwork stating he was anxious because it was his first cut so if he was anxious, how was she able to cut him so low and so aggressively? His hair is uneven all over his body, and the only thing done correctly was trimming the hair off and between his feet, which I had requested. When I picked him up, he was shaking, and honestly, he looked like an old lady. This experience left me feeling disrespected and unheard as a customer. This level of work does not reflect a professional groomer. I left without complaining in person because Cynthia was not the one who brought my dog out, but this needs to be addressed. I am requesting a call from corporate to discuss this matter.

Cynthia is really great with my dog Bear, she has a lot of patience. She cuts his hair and give him a bath and nails,ears. The whole works. Price is reasonable for what is done.

Thankyou to Petco and the stylist for being patient with my pet. She’s quite a handful especially knowing she’s a husky the amount of energy on this girl is insane. So I was ready for them to call me back saying that they couldn’t control her since I’ve experienced that before. The main reason why I didn’t take the chance to take her to get groomed but I decided to give it another chance. I’m so happy with the results. Her fur is so soft and she smells great. 😊

I want to start by saying Thank you to Jennifer who did an amazing Job with Bailey. I had previously had a bad experience at another petco location and thought I couldn't trust anyone else with my fur baby. Jennifer has my personal recommendation to everyone wanting to get their pets groomed. Outstanding Job!! 👏🏼

They are amazing!!!! They really care for your pet. I took my husky in for a session and they treated him so well. When I walked in they were so caring for him. He came our looking great and smelling amazing. I will be taking him there again.

Luna’s groomer was very nice to our Luna. She did a great job making her feel safe knowing it was her first time getting groomed. Even though Luna have her a bit of hard time. Our Luna looked so beautiful. Thank you, Maria Loya ( Luna’s mom)

I love taking my pets here for all their grooming needs. I appreciate the Stylist Mayra C she is very friendly and works wonderfully with the pets. She takes her time and goes above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns and she is also great at easing the pets anxiety and the parents. 🙂 I highly recommend her. 5 Stars! Great job!
