American Pet

American Pet is our top choice for grooming both of our corgis — they always do an excellent job. After moving here a few years ago, we were searching for a new groomer and are so glad we found them. They’re great at managing our corgis' heavy shedding throughout the year and do an amazing job shaping their adorable Corgi butts. I also appreciate their flexibility with pick-up times and extended hours, making it super convenient to grab our pups after work.

I’m sad to be moving away and leaving American Pet Grooming behind! They treated my dog like their own, always remembering his name (and even giving him cute nicknames). He’s usually anxious at the groomer, but they were so patient and sweet with him. As a mixed breed, his coat can be tricky, and other places have made some bizarre choices 😅 But here, they worked with me to find the best cut to keep him comfortable and looking great—plus, the little bandanas were an adorable touch! Their prices are super reasonable (less than big-box groomers in my experience), and they’re flexible with pickup. I wish I could take them with me!

So I brought my pup in for a basic bath and trim. Just around the eyes and booty. He has never been shaved or had body trimmed. They did a great job on his face! Didn't just block cut the hair out of eyes buy blended it back to look natural.

we were waiting for our truck get windshield repair done next door with our pet German Shepard, sitting on a bench at the end of er covered area in the middle of. rain and lightning storm when she said we can't have our dog on her property. seems wierd to me that she would be so anti dog running a pet grooming business, no compassion , just rude behaviour rushing us to leave the property when my brother went back to the bench to grab his bag, I wouldn't trust my pet at this place ever

They did an excellent job with my Paco! His first puppy cut so I was anxious that he'd be labeled a biter since he's nipping is out of this world BUT they said he did really well. I was so happy to hear the feedback. Found our groomers!

I called and spoke to Sheryl about my 2-year-old shih Tzu rescue that had never been groomed professionally, and had to have her mats taken off under sedation during her spay surgery. I explained her situation, and Sheryl was extremely kind and understanding, even going so far as to explain that they are a busy location with lots of animals and groomers, and would probably not be the best place for a skittish dog that has never been groomed before to have their first experience. She then proceeded to help me think of some recommendations of small trusted groomers that might be a better fit. While I'm disappointed, I am so thankful for her honesty, transparency, and understanding. This is the kind of place that cares for animals more than they care for money.

Jacki and the rest of the team are always so personable and professional. Every time we take our pups here they always come out unrecognizable! 11/10 would recommend this shop!!
