Pawsperity

My experience with Pawsperity was extremely positive for me and my 6 month old pup, Winston. The front staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the facility was very clean, bright, and attractive. They gave him a scissor cut, focusing on three main areas and explained that as an energetic puppy, and it being his first cut, that they probably wouldn't be able to do a full and complete cut. This was perfectly fine, and they gave him a positive first experience! They also recommended bringing him in often enough to further help him be at ease with the whole process, which I will. I love their mission and will be a repeat customer!

We want to give a special shout out to the teachers and students at Pawsperity. Our dog Chocolate was groomed yesterday for the first time at the school. Chocolate was taken care of in a very "special " way. He has anxieties with water and blow drying. He was treated with extra special care. We thank all of you at your school for the care given to him. We also want to thank Noelle, the receptionist for her kindness when we first called to make an appointment. She was caring, answered any questions and was so kind the day we brought Chocolate in. If you want a wonderful place to have your dog groomed by very special people look no further than taking them to Pawsperity. ❤️

I brought my 8 year old Cairn Terrier to Pawsperity for the second time yesterday. She's had many opportunities to be groomed over the years, both at home and by professional groomers, and I can say that the grooming she has received both times from Pawsperity have exceeded my expectations. Her face was shaped perfectly and her body was trimmed in a typical Cairn Terrier cut. I couldn't be more thrilled and have told our dog friends about our experience. Thank you for the service you offer to the community and the good you are doing for all those who go through your program.

We’ve been taking our mini bernedoodle to pawsperity for several months now (maybe a year at this point) and it’s been wonderful. They always do such a good job and are kind, thorough, gentle and detail oriented. 10/10 recommend! They make sure our pup feels safe and happy. So grateful for this incredible place. It truly is a gift to the community.

I am sad to have to write this bad review. My wife and I believe in the mission of this organization so much we have been a regular monthly contributor and attended several volunteer events. We have taken our wheaten terrier/poodle mix several times for grooming and staff has always expressed how much they enjoy our dog, so imagine our surprise when I dropped her off this morning and my wife got a call 20 minutes later to say they looked at their notes and she needed to go somewhere else with a dedicated groomer. My wife then said, "You’re telling me she can no longer get groomed at Pawsperity?" And they said "Right." After rearranging our schedules, my wife went back to pick her up and none of the three receptionists said anything to her. No apologies, no explanation. Very disappointed.

They were very professional and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup there. The facility was clean and efficient and nice bright environment. Staff was super friendly . We will be back for sure and tell everyone about it!

I really wanted to like this place because it’s really incredible what they do with the community but unfortunately they are a HUGE disappointment. I made an appointment for our Great Pyrenees and they told me drop off was between 9-11am. I had my husband take our girl and he got there at 10:30am. We live 30 minutes away. They looked at her when he walked in and said it would be too much work and they didn’t have time. I told the receptionist when I booked that she is a Pyrenees that likes to spend a lot of time outside (as Pyrenees do) and she said that was perfectly fine. She definitely needed a groom but was not in bad shape by any means. Why make appointments if you are gonna turn people away when they get there. So disappointing.
