Animal House Self Service Dog Grooming 27th AVE

Brought our fur baby in for a grooming with BreAnna. She is so patient, gives breaks when she senses stress, loves the babies like her own and truly is passionate for the work she does. She has a big heart and wouldn’t choose anyone else to groom our baby. Very polite and loving staff. BreAnna is very professional, positive and is an all around wonderful groomer. Day an night difference with our furry friends personality after a good groom.

Elly the Dog Groomer at Animal House Self Service Dog Grooming is the absolute BEST!!! She's so kind and patient. Oakley had some nail trauma from a prior grooming shop and Elly has taken the absolute best care of Oakley and works with her with cheese to rebuild trust around her feet 🥹🥹🫶🫶🥰🥰. Oakley used to refuse to walk into any grooming shop and would tremble so hard. Now there is no fighting going inside, no trembling, and walks right back with Elly 🙌🙌🙌🙌. And of course she always looks gloriously floofy after 😍❤️

Animal House is great. We highly recommend their services. Our two part corgi, part border collie pups have been going to Animal House for grooming for the past year. Everyone there is wonderful with our dogs. Elly is an awesome groomer and so careful and caring with our dogs. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. We have also used the self wash service on occasion and highly recommend the self wash as well.

I've been taking my girls to Ellie for a couple of years now and she always does a fantastic job with them. They really enjoy their spa day and I appreciate her attention to detail with them.

Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We went for the 1st time and will definitely be back.

We went in today for the first time. My first time ever using a self service dog wash. It was so nice to be able to just put my dog in the tub and have everything conveniently there. They have several different kinds of shampoo, also conditioner. They are quite watery though. I have a large dog and had to use quite a bit. Not sure if they’re made this way or watered down but next time I’ll just bring in my own. I love that they have a few different brushes out to use and also ear cleaner with cotton balls. I do wish the water got a tad warmer. It was turned all the way hot and only barely luke warm. This may be because there were also 2 other people bathing their dogs so maybe the hot water heater couldn’t keep. I love the blow dryer they have with different attachments and speeds however my dog did not lol. He kept trying to bite at the air so I had to mostly towel dry him. Thankfully there’s a whole stack of towels. I did feel bad leaving such a mess of hair but I cleaned up what I could. There’s also some doggy perfume as you’re walking out as well as free bandanas which was super nice. Overall great for our first time. I will say make sure you give yourself plenty of time. I didn’t get in until about 340 and was told they close up at 4pm so I did have to hurry. I thought the latest you could come in for self service was 4pm not when they closed but I still had time to get him clean but didn’t pay as much detail as I would have liked so next time we will go earlier in the day. Very happy to have a much better smelling dog!
