This is a bittersweet review... The groomers are all great, however our issue is with the owner, Allison. In January she raised the rates to where we are being charged an extra $20 per dog that weigh less than 15 lbs. That added to the credit card charge that is a percentage of your total, plus we like to tip the groomer is outrageous! We basically are paying for 3 dogs, but only have 2 being groomed. Understanding inflation and the need to raise the price, $20 per dog is excessive. I have reached out to the salon through voicemail and text messages. I have been told several times Allison will be in touch, however I have yet to hear from her, or anyone else at this point. We also are seeing a new behavior issue with one of our dogs that started after her last grooming appointment. I wanted to privately discuss this with Allison as well, but again, we have not heard a word from her.

My boys have been groomed by Allison for the last 5 years. I’ve always been pleased with the grooming and how well she takes care of my fur babies. She works hard and takes pride in her work. Happy to support her and her business!

I took our 5 month old Havachon to Barkberry today and I was very impressed! Allison and Hannah were both kind, patient, caring and very professional. Our pup seemed extremely comfortable with them and they were very complimentary of her. I am so thankful we have found an amazing groomer to care for our sweet pup.

I’ve been bringing my pups to Allison for grooming for years! They are always excited to see her and have a great experience every time! I’ve never had a bad groom here and will only ever bring Winnie and Goose to see her!

Barkberry has always done a great job cutting Mecha’s hair. Dropoff is easy and their communication is well done. I like that the end results actually resemble my request. They clearly listen and apply that to the cut.

Allison was recommended to me by a friend. She did a great job with Wrigley. His cut was perfect. We have found a great home at BarkBerry!

After picking my dog up from his grooming appointment today, I noticed he was continuously licking himself. Upon looking, I found they cut him and didn’t bother to inform me.
