I would like to give a special (5) STAR review for LARRY at BLOOMINGTAILS PET SPA. My dog was abused when I rescued him and needed a very SPECIAL person to give him extra special TREATMENT. My dog would definitely bite. I’m so thankful for Larry. The other grooming places I TRIED wanted him all drugged and muzzled before they would even help ME or they just said a plain "NO NOT INTERESTED". LARRY gave my dog extra care and special attention without all that. We started with baby steps and eventually we got it all accomplished. My dog always looks amazing. He gets a great haircut and is not afraid of his experience. He still doesn’t love it but he grins very happily when he gets home because he knows he’s ROCKING his cute hair cut.

Clint's Pet Grooming - part of Bloomingtails, Clint is one of the best groomers in the city. I have been to several places and I get a service and it's a good thing. Clint has a way of making it more personal. My dogs love him and they smell clean longer oddly enough. Clint has actually stopped by my house to pick up a dog for grooming. He has a service where he'll come to you and clip nails, I've used this service for my smaller dog that doesn't need much grooming and stresses out when she travels. Clint is the best and he does work outside the usual grooming box. He is now at Little Shop of Groomers in Maryville, still the best, my dogs love him.

We have been using Larry for over 5 years now. We started with him when he had his shop on Northshore. He has always been great with our dogs. I would highly recommend him for anyone who has a doodle or any other dog.

THE most unreliable business owner I have ever met. Does not care about other people's time. The amount of times I have brought my dog to get groomed just to be called back that Larry could not cut that day is pathetic. I kept using Larry because of the convenience and to support small businesses, but the excuses grew to be too much. Consistently referred to my dog as a girl instead of boy - the kind of attention to detail you expect with someone caring for your fur baby. I promise I would not be writing this review if it were a one time poor experience.

We have had such amazing customer service with this groomer. He is always very polite and very good with my animals. We will continue to use his services as long as he is in business. I would recommend anyone looking for a groomer in the knoxville area. He has great pricing as well!

Nail trimmings are better priced and better work than I receive at Petco and Petsmart. I was really getting tired of going to the big petstore groomers.. Petco in Bearden turned me away twice, once because they pulled up the wrong file on me after I had already seen them a couple of times and said my rabies vaccination was out of date when it wasn't which I didn't have proof with me at the time and a second time because the groomer couldn't handle my pug to clip his nails because she said she was unable and needed a second groomer to hold him while she did and to come back tomorrow for it.. Petsmart by West Town turned me away because they said they required an appointment for a nail trim even though their website lists it as a walk-in service. They didn't have an appointment time they could fit me in until 3 days away, just for a simple nail trim... But the guy here at Blooming Tails did a wonderful job on my pug's and small mixed breed dog's nails. Very fast, shorter, and much less painless! He doesn't upcharge for a grind either like they do at the big stores. He's definitely worth your monthly visit! I highly recommend!

I love this family owned business off of Northshore and Kingston Pike. My golden retriever Evee always comes home happy, clean, smelling good, brushed, and soft. The owner is really accomodating, friendly, and my price has never risen.
