Melissa and Annie have both been excellent working with my scaredy-cat Maltipoo. I appreciate his regular schedule as I'm too unorganized to keep making appointments. My dog looks great and I love the 90 minute appointment time just for him. ❤️

Hairy Barkers are the best dog groomers on whidbey island bar none! My dogs have been joined there for years and their new location is absolutely beautiful. My dog always looks perfect and she enjoys going there.

Took one of our two corgis in here for a bath and brush. Couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish. And our dog looks and acts great. Our other corgi is scheduled. Happy to have this so close to home.

Love Melissa - she does a great job on our Border Terrier's very tough hair. It's also a pleasure not to have to have your dog there all day to get groomed. She's on time, quick, and it's always a pleasant experience. Plus the rates are very reasonable.

Extremely rude and confrontational staff! I normally avoid writing negative reviews at all as I live by the "if you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all" rule. However, the experience with the staff at Hairy Barkers this morning was appalling. My first appointment for two larger dogs occurred during a major snowstorm in the area and I was unsure how and when drop-off works or if the salon was even open. I called first thing with no answer. Called again 15 minutes later and reached the older woman who proceeded to berate me for not "showing up". I was baffled by her uncooperative rudeness. Rather than calling me, she didn't bother to answer the salon phone but took the time to fill my slots all within 15 minutes of my appointment and all while I was attempting to confirm? Her attitude and words were unbelievably unprofessional. It would make me wonder how she treats the DOGS if she is in her obvious bad mood? I won't take the chance.

Melissa has taken the utmost care of my dearest snuggly, silly, smiling and indispensable canine family of 2; for years and years. They come home perfectly groomed every time, somehow, always excited to be there and okay with being left behind. A rare occurrence. I highly recommend Hairy Barkers.
