The Dog House Pet Grooming (Under New Ownership)

Definitely recommend! Great customer service the lady was very efficient and responsive to all my questions! My Luna came out looking beautiful and was very happy with her groomer! Good pricing aswell, will be going back! 😊💗

I took my dog in today, this place was recommended to me by a good friend who also uses this groomer. I can say I am highly satisfied with the work they did and the price. My Penny smelled so clean no perfume needed. I had an appoint at 830 dropped her off about 9am and they called that she was done before 12, I am very satisfied and my fur baby looked happy as well. I will be back again, ***I recommend this groomer***

Tuesday October 29th 2024 we took our dog for a summer cut as always for years & when picked up his head kept falling as if he was dosing off & has not been his crazy self jumping around and being silly…. today Thursday October 31st 2 days later we had to take him to the vet to get checked out and sure enough he had inflammation in the neck and spine. About a week ago my mother in law took her dog to the same place and came back very sad and down (not himself) eventually he felt better. Thankfully he’s ok! If you have no patience get a different job these are our babies not just dogs!

My Great Pyrenees went to The Dog House for the first time today, and Belle looked beautiful when I picked her up!

Was previously top notch service, but with the current staff and new ownership, they have really done poorly. They claim to extract glands, and this is the second time that I check myself when I come home and our dog's gland/sac are full. Also, the groomers there think they are veterinarians and constantly give medical advice or diagnosis regarding their health. Stay in your lane and just focus on doing the job and fulfilling your obligations.

I have been taking my dogs to this wonderful place but then it changed owners. Lately I had to ask the assistant to please pick up my dogs from the chest and not from the legs. My dogs' bodies are heavy to be picked up by the front legs. Last week we took our dogs, again, the same worker picked up my dogs from the legs. Additionally, two of my 3 dogs had their collars but my Yorkie did not. We called about five times to ask to talk to the owner after the assistant had been of no help but no luck. The assistant was very rude. Instead of saying that he could start calling other pet owners to see if they had placed my dog's collar in theirs, he said " I looked for the collar and we don't have it" (in Spanish). I asked him to please look for it again and asked if they had some form of system to prevent losses? To this he said in Spanish, "well, you have to talk to the owner and tell him how to run his business". He said, "We don't have it. We'll check the cameras to make certain that you brought your dog with a collar." We didn't get a call from the owner who is very courteous possibly because the owner was never given our message.

Visited a week ago...called day before, was advised no appointment needed....took pet in next day at opening time, but called before no answer....arrived made contact with staff, right before walking in, staff worker comes out, and says they have 5 dogs ahead. Apparently our large dog would cost time for them...they took another small dog for service as we left. No upfront straight estimate either. Staff apparently lack communication skills.
