PetSmart Grooming

This was not my puppy’s first visit to the groomer, as she had been there before. The groomer assigned to her was Ciara. When we arrived the dog getting serviced was crying and shaking. I proceeded to get my puppy serviced, as every dog responds differently, and my puppy cooperates well and does not experience anxiety. I arrived near the end of her service and began shopping until she was ready. I heard my puppy screaming and crying throughout the store and rushed to the room. When I approached Ciara, she responded in a rude and unprofessional manner. It is evident that Ciara lacks the passion and care necessary to be a groomer. She should also decline services if she is unable to perform them fully and properly. My puppy was still dusty and had an unpleasant odor on her breath. Despite paying for a deluxe service, they offered to redo her service for free, which I declined. As a result, I received a full refund.

Brought my dog for grooming and they asked for the rabies info. I gave them the whole file from animal foundation. They said they can’t find the rabies info and needed to verify with animal foundation. So I drove to the animal foundation. When I got there they showed me and highlighted the rabies info that was in the file. They said the pet smart people should have known where to look. I guess they don’t know how to look for the info they need. What makes it worst is when I returned to tell them what the animal foundation said, one of the ladies told me that it’s my dog and that I should be the one to know. I did know but they wanted the paperwork, which I had. They just didn’t know where to look for the info.

Took my baby there to be groomed by Lily. She did an amazing job. So friendly and helpful. My girls a frenchie and Miss Lily knew her stuff. Definitely take your fur baby to Lily she is the best. Already booked my baby girl for her next day of pamper.

Now I understand why everyone hates petsmart when it comes to grooming. I took my dog first time today and they don’t even finished his service but the shaved they did to him was horrible, he looks like homeless dog, worse then that. His face wasn’t done, his nails were not cut off, when that was my main reason for him to be there. Like what they did on 4hrs. I’m not going back and honestly they need to be retrained cause I could do better myself at home.

Never used the grooming. But PetSmart is very helpful.
