Z Dog Grooming

I moved to Las Vegas last year, and a coworker recommended this pet store to me. Their service is excellent! The pet groomers are incredibly skilled and pay great attention to detail. They even give out little gifts and are super friendly to the pets. Every visit includes a themed photo shoot, which I absolutely love. I’ll definitely keep bringing my pet here for grooming.

I have been coming here for about 3-4 months now and I absolutely love the work she does! My Colonel is not scared to be at the groomers like he was with his past groomers and in addition, does not come out having a strong colo gone scent. He smells and looks clean and fresh!! Only thing I wish is that there is a pricing for a bath and tidy (less than 14 days).

Everything was perfect. Mia the owner is so welcoming and was very respectful as to what we wanted for our miniature Schnauzer (who loved her right away:). Danielle is an amazing groomer. The nails, inside the ears and the perfectly even cut was beyond our expectations. If we could give 10 stars we would. It is very comforting to know that we have a groomer that we trust and we look forward to our return. Thank you!!

Mia is great! She listened to my concerns and requests with Champ. She is patient, talented, and gentle! She doesn’t use kennels while waiting. Very clean and thorough! Highly recommend! Reasonable pricing! Thank you, Mia! Welcome to the neighborhood and wish you success! Will def come back!

I’m so happy that I found Z Dog Grooming! After having multiple bad experiences at other groomers, I found this gem! Mia was so accommodating, friendly and asked clear questions on how we wanted our dogs haircut. They only book one dog at a time so they can focus on your pup. When we picked him up we were so happy! This was the best haircut he’s ever had. You can tell that Mia took her time and wanted to do a great job. Our dog was happy when we picked him up and what more can you ask for. The only place I will take my pup to get groomed. Felix is a cavapoo so his hair is wavy mostly, takes about an hour and a half to 2 hours for his grooming. I usually just go to target for a little while he gets groomed. The owner is so kind, so accommodating, and always does a fantastic job. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place more especially if you have a poodle/longer haired dog.

UPDATE- the owner called me and apologized for the behavior of her staff, and we assured me that she would take care of my dog and invited me back to bring my dog for a grooming. The owner did a great job and apologized and moving forward she will be taking care of my dog grooming needs. She informed me she will also have a meeting with her staff on how to treat customers. I also informed her if you don’t receive any type of negative feedback,, how are you supposed to be better and improve the quality of your staff work and she agreed. Thank you for all your help. I will be coming back to the owner only. I’ve been bringing my dog here for a while because I’ve liked their customer service and the way they groom her—most of the time. However, there have been occasions when the haircut wasn’t even, so I politely asked them to fix a few spots. Considering I pay over $100 each visit, plus leave a tip, I don’t think that’s unreasonable. Sometimes my dog comes in with matting, and I’ve asked if they can brush it out before grooming. At previous grooming places I’ve used (in Illinois), they would take care of the matting first, then give a proper haircut so my dog looked and felt her best. Today, when I called to make an appointment, I was told they would no longer take my dog because they claim I’m "never happy" with the grooming. If I were truly unhappy all the time, I wouldn’t have kept coming back, paying full price, tipping, and thanking them when corrections were made. I feel this is unfair and possibly discriminatory, simply because I gave constructive feedback. Good customer service should be able to handle reasonable requests, especially when the customer is loyal and paying premium prices.
