The Groom Room Inc

Our dog Kennedy has enjoyed many wonderful haircuts from the groom room. We always get a good report when he's finished about what they were able to accomplish while he was in for the grooming. Sometimes Kennedy isn't cooperative and there needs to be a modification done to his hair and we're fine with that, they are always good to tell us when that happens because Kennedy doesn't like sharp objects next to his nose or ears. When we pick him up he is always excited and always looks like a million bucks. We will continue to take Kennedy and our future animals to the groom room because of their wonderful nature and care for our animals. 💓

Not one to normally post reviews. But I got a call during the middle of my dog’s appointment that a "previous scab" must have been washed off during the bath and was bleeding and that they just wanted me to know. I didn’t think much of it and went to pick him up as normal. Upon getting him he was VERY nervous and off. He had a wrap on his leg from this "scab" and it was bleeding through it. Upon looking at it, it was apparent he had been cut with scissors and had a fairly deep puncture that bled through 2 separate wraps. Mistakes happen, and I would have been fine if they had told me. Instead we were lied to and not offered any explanation or discount for that matter.

They do a great job. Mia always looks super cute and the price is reasonable.

I walked in they were helpful and one practically groomer loved my dog so much they personally groomed them and he smelled so good and his nails were cut perfectly and the price was right. Overall I recommend them to anyone.

I have tried various groomers for my large bernedoodle and none have come close to the Groom Room. Sarah was very understanding of what I wanted and took the time to talk with me to discuss the specific cut I wanted on my dog. They even gave me extra advice on what tools to buy to keep the cut nice in between grooming appointments. It is the third time I bring my dog here and they have not disappointed me once! + the staff is extremely friendly!

Doodle review: Just don’t! Worst cut to date! My dog literally sits or stands calmly during cuts so…please explain why when I asked for one length all over, I got patches of bald spots and long fur??? Added a few photos for reference but please know, this irregular pattern was throughout his entire body. The bald spots revealed irritated red flesh. My dog RAN out of the building when I picked him up. He was nervous and sad the rest of the night (wish I was kidding) but I have never seen my dog act the way he did that night! Not sure what all went on in that place but one fact I do know is, my dog suffered a horrible cut! Thank god hair grows back. No more groom room for us.

Will not go back. 1. Raised prices by $40 from last visit. 2. Did not follow instructions on how to cut my dog’s hair even though it was a plan discussed with attendant when I dropped her off. 3. When asked on picked up why the instructions weren’t followed the different employee that brought her out was rude, got angry with me for asking and made up an excuse which didn’t make sense. When I questioned that reasoning this employee looked at the ticket, which took her awhile to read (which gives me the idea there were instructions there she hadn’t read before now) and again rudely said they’d have to do that next time….. no apology. 5. Razor burn on the back of my dog’s back the last two cuts. 4. Cleanliness…. This isn’t the cleanest business and having cats roam the drop off/waiting area hasn’t always sat well with me, however because they were reasonably priced and use to do a very nice job with their grooming we continued to go back….. not anymore.
