Mel's Groom Room

Mel is so great! This is the 3rd time I have taken my long hair cat to her for grooming and everytime she does such a great job! Always exactly what I ask for. So important as a pet owner to find someone you trust with your baby.

Mel is amazing. Very personable and does an outstanding grooming of our golden retriever. He loves going there for grooming. Don’t have to worry a bit even though he is a little on the heavier side. I would highly recommend her.

I have been going to Mel's for years even before she opened up her own shop. I have a Bichon who has diabetes and is blind; the special care my dog gets from Mel's is extraordinary. Plus I've taken Buddy to other groomers and no one gave him the care, cut, and/or grooming he gets from Mel's. The staff is so professional yet personable, I love taking my pet to Mel's. The service you get is top of the line!!

Melissa groomed all of my Golden Retrievers (male and female) and she does a wonderful job. I enjoy talking with her as she is so knowledgeable about all kinds of animals. She loves them all.

I've taken my dogs there for years. Very accommodating, and they always do an exceptional job on my furry monsters. Plus the dogs enjoy their time there. Highly recommend them.

My rating is based off customer service... When I called for the first time, I was instantly turned away because I have not been there before, which I don't know how that makes any sense... The employee that I had spoken to had a nasty attitude for no absolutely no reason. I was given an attitude as soon as she found out that I was a new customer and was interested in making an appointment. I knew that grooming places were booked because the holiday was coming up so I was calling around to find an opening, anywhere. I was told in a very rude manor that they were booked and that there is a holiday this week (as if I had no idea). I was very nice over the phone and did not deserve to be spoken to in that way. I do not know why it is so hard for people to be nice, she could have simply said "No, unfortunately we are booked because of the holiday coming up but thanks for calling". Instead I was treated like an idiot. Like I said, I was very nice over the phone, even after she was being so rude, so I absolutely did not deserve to be spoke to that way.

She is great with my dog. I drive from Rochester to have my dog groomed. I have been using Mel for 8yrs never had a problem.
