Petco Grooming

Josephine always does a great job grooming Aspen. She puts her at ease and she always comes home super soft and smelling good!

Emily is has a very calming stable style with our dog- a chihuahua mix. Our small dog is very comfortable working with her and returns home looking great.

Our dogs two groomers were professional, very knowledgeable and very kind !! We are so happy to find a Vet, grooming, and pet supply store....all in one1

I have always been pleased through the years with a grooming for my dogs at Petco especially when Josephine is the groomer.

If you want to drop your dog off to get groomed and return to a baboon, this is the place for you. Otherwise, keep your dog as far away as possible. We usually use Petsmart for grooming, but decided to try Petco this time. They informed us that our dog had matted fur around her butt, and that they "might need to shave some of it." We said okay, and got another call ten minutes later saying that our dog needed to be picked up because she was freaking out (she gets nervous around hair dryers, which we had informed them about). We went to pick her up, and the employees said nothing. After apologizing for her causing issues, we started walking out and saw that her butt had been ENTIRELY shaved even though Great Pyrenees are not supposed to be closely shaved (something we assumed the grooming team knew). Not only did they shave her, but they made no efforts to even out the shaving or blend it into her fur. This is the worst our dog has ever looked, and when we told the employees that, they didn’t respond to us. This was the most disappointing grooming experience I have ever seen.

Amazing groomers. Josephine is my favorite and Emily is awesome too! They always make my pups look splendid! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The high level of turnover causes more stress for my pet. However, I have been satisfied with 3 out of 4 of the stylists we've used. Recently, customer service/management would not follow through on a grooming benefit I had been promised by my store manager. Also, their computer records at the store leave much to be desired. Notes on preferences for pet styling can rarely be retrieved for a new grooming appointment. Perhaps it's time to update the computer software!
