Petco Grooming

Christy is our groomer for chewy our 3 year old labradoodle. She’s awesome. Chewy loves going and he always looks amazing. She goes above and beyond caring for chewy especially after a bad experience at another place. We love petco and Christy is awesome.

We've been having all of our Cocker Spaniels groomed by Petco over the past several years. There have been times we've had to use other groomers and were not satisfied with their handling of our babies or their how they groomed them. Our Petco may have a small grooming salon but it makes things easier for the groomers to reach for things while grooming. Unlike other places that have to leave the pet unattended while getting things. Lisa grooms both our Spaniels. One likes it very much and the other doesn't yet Lisa knows them both very well. She does a wonderful job and cares about them both.

I will never return to this grooming salon with my senior dog or in good faith recommend it to anyone. From the start, the groomer, seemed to view my dog as a burden, which was upsetting, because my pup didn't want to be there any more than the man wanted him there. When I called, I explained that my 12-year-old dog is very nervous about nail trims and has a collapsing trachea. This information was also shared again in person when the dog was brought in for his appointment. Despite this, the groomer still put something around my dog's neck that caused him distress, and he was visibly struggling. The dog was wearing a harness that should have been used instead of anything around his neck, but the man said it would "be fine." Hardly fine. The groomer showed a complete disregard for my dog's well-being. To make things worse, he moved the grooming table with my struggling dog on it, causing one of his nails to break and bleed. His nails were long so I take responsibility for that aspect, but why are you moving the table WITH AN ANIMAL ON IT? I am furious about how my dog was treated and I can't overlook what happened this time. Although the staff had been rude before, I gave them another chance, but this crossed the line. My old dog didn't deserve such treatment, and they need to do better.

We called for an urgent bath (dog rolled in something and smelled awful) and they fit her in that same day. Her groomer (I think the name was Raven) was very knowledgeable about the breed. She did a fantastic job - possibly the best grooming our dog has had in our area.

Harper and I had a great experience at Petco Grooming. Riley, Harper’s groomer is very patient and kind with her. He does a fantastic job of grooming her the way I want and she always looks so beautiful afterwards. I would highly recommend Riley to groom your dog!

Yesterday I had my Golden Retriever bathed, groomed, paws trimmed etc. at Petco. Lisa did an excellent job and really took good care of my dog. He was completed earlier than I expected which was convenient. He looked fantastic and very happy when I picked him up. Prices were fair and the service excellent. Thank you.

Toby is 16 yrs old and small and missing his lower Jaw, from birth, so he is a challenge to groom but Christy does a great job getting him spruced up! I know he always feels better after his "spa day"!
