Ooh La La Pet Spa

I took my pup here for his bath and brush with face and feet trim, expecting him to return to me looking fresh and fluffy, as he usually does. Instead I was shocked to find him shaved. This was not what I requested and it was incredibly distressing to find my fur baby look so different. When I called later to express my concerns, the front desk staff was cold and unapologetic, which only added to my frustration. I really thought I had found a hidden gem in this place, but oh how wrong I was. There was also the "annual increase" on the total. I hadn’t been going there for a year. My groomer did not come up to the front when we arrived. So clearly she was given misinformation. The front desk even snapped a photo with her phone of the picture I showed her from my pups previous appointment 1 month prior. Is it possible for dogs to be depressed? My advice for anyone considering this place is to be overly clear in your expectations and to speak directly with the groomer.

Best pet groomer in McKinney! Spends lots of time with my Shiba, and my dog is happy, not traumatized when I pick her up so I know she was treated well. Staff takes fun pictures after grooming. You can tell they treat all the pets well and staff enjoys their work. Highly recommended!

LOVED my first experience at Ooh La La Pet Spa! Took Sugar Kane (tough boy name just: Kane) to get his nails filled & nails painted for the first time! They were AMAZING with my rescue dog & he was so comfortable there! Love the upfront pricing on the website & we were able to call & schedule a same day appointment! See yall next month for a nail trim & new nail art🎨💅🐶

Fabulous grooming place! The groomer/owner, Mikael, did an amazing job on my two little pups. Will definitely be back!

I got my long haired cat groomed here in October 2021 and they did a fantastic job! I love that they have a cat-only day, my cat was much less stressed than when he’s gone to other grooming centers. See pictures attached (one before, two after) to see their great work!

Front desk receptionist Penny was kind and very helpful at helping us make an appointment for our foster, Ollie. Jackson did an amazing job on his cut and had him cut just like our reference photo we showed him. You can tell Ollie enjoyed his time at the spa as he was very fond of Jackson when we went to pick him up! We had a great experience and would recommend Ooh La La to family & friends.

I got my goldendoodle groomed there jan 22 2026 and even though she was groomed the best she's ever been groomed SHE CAME HOME TERRIFIED AND COWWERING .NYLA IS A VERY HAPPY BABY and for her to act like this only tells me one thing SHES BEEN SMACKED AT WHEN GROOMING and the little create my 50 pound baby was put in is NOT OK. WHEN MY HUSBAND GOT HER OUT HE WAS ASTONISHED. NYLA IS NOW TERRIFIED WHEN YOU PUT HER HARNESS ON HER OR TAKE HER BY THE CAR. It took us a long time to make her feel safe from previous owners that had her and now she's right back to feeling the same way again. NYLA WILL NOT BE BACK AND I HOPE OTHERS PAY ATTENTION TO THIS REVIEW.....PEOPLE DONT THINK THERE JUST LOVING ON YOUR DOGS WHILE THERE GROOMING THEM. THERE WAS A DOG ON THE TABLE SHAKING AND THE GROOMER HAD THE DOGS LEG PULLED HIGHER THEN ITS BACK when the groomer noticed my husband was looking she put the dogs leg down. JUST PUTTING ON HERE WHAT WE HAVE ACTUALLY WITNESSED.
