Your dog will be excited to go to the groomer! Very professional groomers and dog lovers. Very organized with appointments and reminders. Prices are comparable to other groomers. 10/10 every time!

This was Penelope's first visit to Top Dog and it was a great experience! We were greeted by friendly, caring staff who treated us like old friends. When I picked her up, she was so adorable. This is now my Groomer forever. Thank you Teddie!

They always do a great job with my pups groom. I’ve had different groomers work on him and all have been great. It’s really hard to find a good groomer. Highly recommend!

Scheduled a 9:15am appointment. Cannot reach them by phone, This should have been a red flag for me. At 1:30pm, I drove over to pick up my dog and they only had shampooed, had not started clipping or nail clipping. I had to take my dog, because of my schedule. The owner was very short and disrespectful. She even accused me of no showing for an appointment. My record keeping is much better and I reminded her, they were closed, due to snow. I paid $30 for a shampoo and left. While securing my dog into the vehicle, I could hear her complain and bad mouthing me, to another employee. I went back in and called her out for her lack of professionalism. Seek another facility for your dog grooming…there are others out there that care about your dog and your business.

This is the worst service I’ve ever received from a groomer. My dog got her worst cut ever, and from an apprentice none the less. And when I complain, I get ignored by the owner. I never received a call to apologize, nor did I get a call to reschedule the cut. No such thing as customer service here. I expected better from Kristen. Top Dog Grooming NOLA is the worst!!!!!! I read another post on here from a woman who had an issue that she felt was because of the color of her skin. Well, I'm inclined to agree with her based on the lack of a personal response from the owner.

I brought my puppy in for her very first hand stripping appointment. Kristin explained the process and did a great job on Indie. She was very relaxed and happy when I picked her up. We will be back for future appointments. Highly recommend.

I would not go back to this groomer. I was not completely satisfied with my dog’s hair cut, his nails were not even trimmed, and I was charged extra because my 6lb 4 month old puppy bit someone. I can understand the inconvenience of handling a large dog that is not cooperating however I would expect groomers to have some level of skill to handle uncooperative dogs especially a puppy that is only 6lbs. I’ve taken him to other groomers and have never had problems with his behavior. Reply: It is my girlfriend and I’s dog. She is the one who brought him. He is fully vaccinated and is a havanese. Since you're not aware, havaneses need to be groomed frequently at least once a month. This breed’s hair grows fast. I’m sure if my review was positive, you wouldn’t be concerned about reporting it as "spam." Update: We have brought him to another groomer and they said he was one of the best behaved dogs they’ve ever groomed and it was half the price.
