Aki is the best! My dog loves her so much and is always happy to see her. I have moved pretty far away but I refuse to go to another groomer. I will gladly continue to make the 45 minute commute to ensure my pup looks her best!

My One and Only has been an absolute game changer for us. When we moved to the Upper East Side, I was worried about finding the right groomer for my labradoodle, Rosie — but Aki completely exceeded expectations. She only works on one dog at a time, which makes such a difference. Rosie is in and out in under two hours, compared to the 4–5 hour days we were used to before. It’s a much calmer, more personalized experience, and you can tell Rosie is more comfortable because of it. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for the level of care and attention you get. And every single time, Rosie comes back looking perfect — I’m consistently so happy with her haircut. Aki is truly amazing at what she does. We won’t be going anywhere else.

Kana is absolutely amazing with my dog. She truly loves animals and you can tell from the first time you meet her. She has so much patience and takes all the time going at my dog’s pace. Also she listens to my requests and combines them with her own creativity. He loves seeing Kana and Aki (both are incredible) and showers them with kisses. For a dog who hates bath time he truly enjoys his spa day there and always looks like a million bucks. The price is very reasonable for the intricate work involved when it comes to grooming a Yorkie. I spent several years grooming my dog before meeting these lovely ladies so I know the amount of work involves. I am truly blessed to have found them. Best of all it’s fantastic to support a female-run business.

Aki is the absolute best. She is So gentle, kind and a fantastic groomer. My dog has never looked better. He gets nervous getting groomed (we had a bad experience at another place.) Aki is the only person he’ll let touch him. Cannot recommend her enough.

My one and only was absolutely fabulous! My dog did not want to leave at the end. You can tell My One and Only clearly love dogs and what they do. The groom took only 90 minutes and was so much more reasonably priced compared to elsewhere in the neighborhood. Trixie came home smelling great and so soft and hasnt been shedding at all. We’re going to be happy to use this as our go to grooming spot.

Aki’s the BEST dog groomer!! We truly love her- she’s soo gentle and sweet with our dog. We’ve been seeing Aki for years even after moving out of the city!

We love Dog Salon My One and Only! I have been bringing my cockapoo Cooper here since we moved to the neighborhood last year and time after time Cooper gets the best haircuts he's ever gotten. They're also super quick- previous groomers have taken upwards of 4 hours to groom my 25 lb dog and here my dog is picked up within 2 hours of drop off. Would definitely (and have) recommend Dog Salon My One and Only for your doggo.
