Since I adopted him back in 2019! Seriously the best small pet shop for the best treats and grooming services. May is truly the best! The only one I know my dog can trust after all his abuse prior to being adopted by me. The blue tail was her idea and ever since then we have ran with it. I will keep going back no matter what. I highly recommend the service here. All the groomers as well. And for the best care & price in the neighborhood!
We've been going to Seaport Paw for a couple years now, since we moved down to the area. They treat our dogs with the most care and attention they deserve. We always appreciate how well groomed and how nice the dogs smell after they come back from Seaport Paw. We highly recommend anyone looking for a new groomer that's local to the area!
I commute across town to go to Seaport paw for my standard golden-doodle grooming. Highly recommend especially for doodles. May has been my dog’s groomer since she was a puppy, she is great and takes her time with each dog. Other folks who work there are good as well, we had positive experiences when May was traveling. Front desk is so friendly and helpful which is always a plus.
Prentiss is amazing! Maximus has been seeing him since he was 5 months old, and he always comes out looking perfect. Prentiss is gentle, attentive, and truly cares for Maximus. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch groomer!
Absolutely livid, they butchered my pup’s ears. Before & after photos below. I took my cavalier spaniel for three specific services: sanitary trim (underbelly), paw pad trim, and nail trim. I specifically told the staff I didn’t want the ears touched. He asked if I wanted them cleaned, I said I didn’t want them cleaned or cut (so they were told twice). I picked up the pup to see his ears had an inch trimmed off in jagged, uneven cuts. It is clearly lopsided. It looks absolutely dreadful and will take months to grow back. When I pay $100+ for a trim (no bath, just the trim) my lowest expectation is that my requests are listened to. When I called to explain our dissatisfaction, I was given no remedy other than a quick apology for the miscommunication. I had to return in person to demand a refund. Absolutely will not go back. Do better.
My little 5-pound Maltese dog, Delilah, has been going to May for over 14 years since she was a puppy. I have tried other groomers here and there when traveling or when Seaport Paw has been closed and truly no one has ever taken care of Delilah the same. Delilah has anxiety and some other health issues and I never have to worry when I drop her off. She is also her best self after every grooming appointment, so happy and refreshed… her mood is always noticeably better once she’s been groomed. She loves May so much and so do we!! We have also had great experiences with other groomers when May is not available, including Joe, Joom, and Audi. I highly recommend Seaport Paw and believe it is a true staple in the neighborhood. Thank you May for your loving care over all these years!
I brought my dog there for 3 years...and steadily, they raise the price. I consistently asked to verify the price before I brought the dog in and, on the day of the grooming, they called to tell me the price of the grooming would be $50 more...for no real reason except they wanted to... They Iost me as a client and I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
