The Groomers

They are hands down my favorite dog groomer we have ever seen, and I can’t recommend them enough. They groom both of my dogs, and from day one the experience has been nothing but positive. Their prices are very fair and their work is great. My dogs always look and smell great but what truly sets them apart is their patience and kindness. One of my dogs is a rescue, and before coming here his only grooming experience was a medical groom at a vet, so he was terrified. He can still be a bit of a pain in the way only dogs we love can be 😅, but they are calm and patient with him every time. I’ve watched his confidence grow so much from having to carry him in to now walking happily into the shop. I’ll admit I can be a little last minute and don’t always get them in when I should, especially with my own health issues, but they always do their best to fit us in when I call usually the same week, which I truly appreciate. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs and That care shows in the owner and every groomer there. I trust them completely with my dogs, and that says a lot because I trust very few people with them.

We’ve been going to The Groomers for about a year and they’ve always been wonderful. Very easy to schedule an appointment. They’re accommodating and efficient. Done in about 2 hours for our dog. Great communication. Reasonable pricing. We usually have Jessica, but had Pam this most recent time and love how our dog looks!

We are so happy with The Groomers! Max likes them and he looked great after his services. We will continue to book The Groomers for future appointments.

Pamella is amazing! She did such a great job grooming my Pomeranian—he’s all set for summer now. Valentino was so calm when I picked him up, which is rare. At other places, he’s usually eager to get out right away.

I am so happy with our experiences at the Groomers in Newington. Paula is so accommodating with the schedule and Jessica is absolutely amazing. My Eddie is always so happy when i go to pick him up and he always looks adorable after his haircut. They do a phenomenal job. Can’t say enough good things about them. If you are looking for a great groomer for your pup , I highly recommend them.

Once I took the bow off this is what I saw. Not happy at all. Not what I asked for. Her hair was not tangled because I brush it every day with two different kind of brushes. Its just curly.The first thing she said it was that she had to be shaved without even looking at her. What else can I say I HATE IT she looks ugly specially her head it’s all uneven you can clearly see it in the pictures.
