Happy Tails Grooming Salon

6.1

Address offers dog grooming services with a focus on affordability, though the quality of care may vary. While some clients appreciate the pricing, concerns have been noted regarding attention to detail, particularly in nail trimming and drying procedures. The staff’s approach to handling pets with special needs, such as anxiety, has also raised questions about customer communication.

The overall experience appears inconsistent, with occasional oversights in post-grooming care. Those seeking a straightforward grooming session may find it suitable, but pet owners prioritizing precision and personalized service might explore other options in the area.

This place was horrible! My fiance and I took our dog there to get his nails trimmed. An older man was the one who trimmed them, if you want to call it that. They were still too long and on my dog's way out of the room I noticed blood on the floor. My dog was bleeding and they didn't even notice it. I was the one who said WHAT??!! M dog is bleeding you need to fix it. Not impressed. WILL NOT be back!

I've been coming here for quite a while and today was the last time. My dogs nails are still long and my girl was still wet. Value isn't bad, but the job is done poorly. On top of that, I have a dog that can not be crated, she has very high anxiety and when I made my appointment I made that very clear. So when I arrived I waited in my car. I did not ask anyone to hurry, I was not rude, I did not try to rush anyone. I just sat in my vehicle and watched some tv while I waited for my dogs to be done. When they were finished (After I had paid my bill) and brought out my second dog I was informed that if I wanted to wait in my car in the future "We will assume you want expedited service and will charge an additional 10 dollar fee". Which took me completely by surprise, again, I didn't even ask them to hurry. If they felt like they had to rush, they could have just asked me, as I was told when I talked to them on the phone, that it would be towards the end of the queue so they'd be able to see to them. I would have gladly waited. Instead I was rudely informed I needed to pay for waiting outside. (Mary) told the nice man to tell me that and couldn't have even told me herself or addressed it directly with me. I have no need for that kind of attitude towards a customer. I'll happily take my business elsewhere, which is a shame as I've always spoken highly of this place.

Happy Tails is amazing! My little Bernedoodle always looks great coming out. And the best part is he is always excited to see them so I know they treat him well!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! Have been here three times, will never be back. My most recent visit was this past wednesday. My fluffy cat was there for a lion cut and nail trim. When I got a good look at him afterwards I realized Meri shaved off his cheek whiskers and left him incredibly crooked. The entire side of his face is shaved away whiskers and all, but the other side is still completely fluffy. When I reached out to the business I was told that the reason for the terrible cut job was Meri having a sickness/cold all week. So she was so sick the clippers slipped or???? This concerns me because somebody in this line of work shouldn't be actively grooming if they are too sick to handle it. For those that don't know you should NEVER cut off a cat’s whiskers. Thank you Rob for offering me a free nail trim but I will not be comfortable bringing my pet here ever again.

We have a 1 1/2 yr old larger mix breed who has never been to a groomer. Today we tried Happy Tails and Lily Jesswein did an awesome job. He is so fresh and fluffy. I highly recommend this location and groomer.

My neighbors recommended Happy Tails for our new pup’s grooming needs. Mary and her husband were very accommodating. They went above and beyond for our Bichon. He looks great. This was such a pleasant first time experience. We will continue to bring our little guy to Happy Tails from here on out.

This place is horrible . never once brushed my dog's teeth and started looking at all her teeth no way were they ever brushed cause if the did they would of noticed a mass by her gums.if I was told about it we probably could of took her to the vet and she could of been saved it was to far gone and she passed away.please pass this to friends and dog owners . she was a great dog But blame everyone that works there for her passing.no animals should be taken there.... Please don't go there.
