Seusspup Pet Grooming

I wanted to make sure my large dog had a positive experience with grooming when he was a puppy, and my little old dog gets very anxious (panting, shaking as soon as she can smell dog grooming smells). Kai is patient and wonderful with both of them. They also helped me when I tried to cut my dog's fur myself and was very kind about what a terrible job I had done.

I found Seusspup looking for a dog groomer in my area after adopting mine a decade ago. I lucked out and have been lucky enough to go here ever since. We travel now to their new studio in North Hollywood, and i’m happy we can. Kai is so talented and my dog is so well cared for even my mother was beyond impressed, and brought hers to get groomed! Seusspup also does color design as well as painted nails and more! They’re the best.

Kai is so wonderful. We've gone 4-5 times and in addition to her perfect services keeping our double coated dog cool, she has recommended a great vet, found and helped remove a foxtail from our dog's foot, given advice and extra treatment help with hot spots and itchiness and just generally been awesome with a grumpy, arthritic dog! I've only met Todd once but he is very nice too! Very glad to have found Seusspup

We recently had both our cat and dog washed and groomed by Kai, and she did a fantastic job on both! Our dog, Dudley is a silky terrier and sometimes looks like a chihuahua after a haircut :/ Kai gave him a perfect grown up Yorkie cut and he looks clean and handsome. We also had our long haired cat, Lucy shaved before a long road trip. She's much more comfortable and cool and is actually behaving much better because of it 🙂 most importantly our pets were treated as she would treat her own. Highly recommended!

they do a great job with Molly! My Maltese is a little high strung (no big surprise there), and she gets nervous in the car ride to be groomed, but as soon as we get there she's all smiles any wags! they do a very nice job grooming her, and now and again we've asked them to dye her tail. It always looks gorgeous, and she gets lots of compliments! She even seems to sense she's looking especially fancy and walks with her head up, smiling her pupper smile. 🐶

Don’t bring your pet here if they are older and need special attention. I was tipping this girl Kai 30% on services and the dog was always shaking when I picked it up. Grooming was always inconsistent, but it’s because of the heavy hand. I will admit, I should have been clearer and asked for honest feedback from this place, but that would not have helped. I’m not going to recommend who I’ve decided to start using instead, but I do recommend that you look these people in the eyes when you get there, and if something seems off don’t stay. I wish I could take back all of my visits there and not have put my dog through the discomfort.

I love susseup ! My shnauzer wheaten mix has been coming here since he was a puppy and they always take really good care of him. Not only does he always come back looking handsome, I know I am leaving him in good hands. For someone who has gone through a handful of bad groomers with some nightmare stories, this is really important to me. Puppy always comes home happy and wagging, so I know they treat him well! Side note : I also love that they text - it makes booking appointments and checking in super easy and they gave me several updates during his first puppy cut to put this dog mom a ease which I really appreciate. So thankful to have found susseup !
