A Dog's Way

I was hesitant to write a review because I felt my dog was well taken care of and the staff were friendly when I arrived. When I dropped off my golden retriever, I mentioned that I preferred a shorter cut around her chest and back-end. Perhaps I should have been more specific. When I picked her up, I asked how she did, and they said she did extremely well but was a little scared of the dryer. When I got home and took a closer look, I noticed that her chest area and ears were very choppy, and there were random cuts on her inner thighs. I am honestly very displeased with the grooming. About a week later, I called them to express my dissatisfaction, as I wasn't sure how to approach this initially. They offered to fix it if I brought her back, but unfortunately, they have lost my trust, and I will not be returning. They also did not offer a refund. I am posting this so that no one else’s dog has to look like this.

I was referred to here by a friend and they did a great job of grooming my 40lb Australian Shepherd. They also provided advice on the care of my dogs coat so that it would look it’s best. The bath + haircut + nail trim cost $65 plus tip. His chest looks a little choppy but that’s ok. I just hope he stops shedding so much. I was originally going to go to petsmart but decided to support this local business instead. They were also able to get me in 20 minutes after calling! Thank you again!

I do not recommend anyone using them for any groomer services. They have the worst customer service and a horrible attitude, especially the guy at the front desk. Stay away from this company!!

I've been bringing my two dogs, Angel and Buffy, to Joanna even before she and her family opened "A Dog's Way". Angel was a 2 lb 8 oz Chihuahua and Buffy is a Shiffon (Shih Tzu and Brussels Griffon). Joanna, her husband, her mother and son have always provided a loving caring place for me to bring my dogs for grooming. Angel passed away in March at the age of 11. She was a special needs dog from birth because she had a neurological condition. Her condition caused her to have a jerky walk and her head would sometimes shake even when sitting still. Many times I would come to pick up my dogs and Joanna's son would be holding Angel in his lap. Both of my dogs were always treated with love and when I brought them home they were just as happy and playful as they were when I dropped them off. The only difference was they looked better and smelled great. I still take Buffy to "A Dog's Way" even though there is a groomer less than one block from my apartment. I'm sorry this review is long but I wanted to express why I'm giving five stars. If you go take your special family member to "A Dog's Way", please tell them, "Buffy and Angel sent me". Gary Palmer

The two groomers here are AMAZING. The rescue dog I brought in was matted and her nails were very overgrown. They were so gentle and patient with her. I couldn't believe this was the same dog I brought in. She looked so beautiful and she was so happy. They are one of the best groomers I have ever worked with. I work professionally in the Pet Industry so I know good groomers when I see them. Your fur baby deserves to come here for their doggie spa day. Tell them " Cat sent you". 🐾💕🐕🐾🐕‍🦺
