BarkHaus Dog Grooming

Had a good experience the first time I brought my dog here. I’ve taken him a few more times since. Each time I pick him up, he hasn’t been brushed properly and is shedding VERY BAD. I have a 90lbs white pitbull. He’s a gentle giant. We have a cat and a Chihuahua at home. He’s not an aggressive dog and easy to work with. This girl looks so annoyed when she sees my dog, her facial expressions really hurt my heart. I mind you, I tip very well, there’s no reason to make us feel like a burden. My baby is a rescue and has already been through so much. Sure enough I said something today, in the most kindest way possible. She looked soooo pissed and said "ok I’ll brush him". My gut told me no and I immediately got my dog out of there. I did not tip this time and will not be bringing my dog here ever again. I hope life treats you the same way you treat animals.

I had such a great experience at BarkHaus Grooming! They responded so quickly when I reached out about a nail trim for my two pugs, which I really appreciated. Once we arrived, Maya immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. My pugs can be very dramatic when it comes to nail trims, but Maya was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. Even when my girl Churro had a full-on meltdown, Maya made thoughtful modifications to the trim to best suit my pup. You can truly tell how much she cares about the dogs she works with. I’m so grateful to have found a groomer I trust — we’ll definitely be back

Take your pups here!! We just moved to Arizona from Minnesota and needed to get our two pups groomed asap. I contacted them and got in 4 days later. We have two larger dogs (Goldendoodle 45lbs and Bernadoodle 80lbs) one of which is timid with the groomers. They did FANTASTIC with them. And they look great! So friendly, flexible, and overall the best grooming experience we’ve had.

My pup, Marshall, has been going to Maya for years. I am SO thrilled she has finally opened this shop because I know her level of expertise and knowledge of grooming will continue in her own space. It was very clean and the dogs were all well taken care of while she is grooming. Marshall is a mini poodle and she has always cut/groomed him perfectly to our liking. She is kind to the pups and Marshall loves her! I would recommend her for all breeds.

I am so glad to have found a new doodle groomer! My old groomer closed shop and the few I tried after left my boy coming home anxious and poorly clipped. I had begun grooming him myself (poorly I might add). I finally booked with BarkHaus after seeing so many good reviews and they were awesome. Marshall came back happy as a clam. No doodle anxiety at all. He looks so good, the clip is perfect and so smooth. We will definitely be regulars!

Maya, the owner, was recommended to us by our puppy's trainer 4 years ago. We have followed her to 3 locations. She is the best groomer/nail tech by a mile enough so that we happily drive 30 minutes for a nail trim. Our pup is a complete drama queen and Maya is somehow able to work around the squirms and faux banshee theatrics. She is fast and reliable. She has a really understated confidence that my dog respects. I highly recommend BarkHaus.

My dog, Tobe, had his first grooming with Maya "years" ago at a different business but now she is her own businessowner, and I couldn't be happier for her and with the continued amazing results! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and patient, even with Tobe's initial nervousness. Maya was so skilled and gentle, and Tobe came back looking and smelling absolutely amazing!! He's never looked better! I highly recommend Maya to anyone looking for a reliable and caring grommer; you won't be disappointed!!
